What is the worse thing a true die hard supporter of one team can do?

Question

As you all would know, I support the Adelaide Crows, I am a member.
But last Saturday night, I recieved an Official Power Supporter Card, all I had to do...is go on line and register.....it's free.
So I did that tonight (Mon nite) and now... strike me pink, I'm a Power supporter. Crikey!!!...I better not tell my wife, she will kick me out of the house.
I can't stand Port Adelaide....now I am officially a Power Supporter.

Change to another team...I follow (and always have done) Carlton and years ago when Aaron Hamill was playing for us we had this lady in the cheer squad who was Aaron Hamill (Sammy) mad...when he left she left the club also and barracked for the Saints...not sure if she is back with Carlton or if she still follows the Saints.

Towards the end of last year Freo was offering a 3 game membership, which included tickets to the derby, for just for about $60, which i was so close to buying until i realised the first of the three games had pasted. I would have defiantly used it to go to the West Coast game, and maybe the others if i was bored one weekend. Then i realised thank god, how could live with myself knowing i was technically a 'Fremantle Member' and not even an Eagles member (F***ing waiting list member for 5 years)

edit: hahahahahahhaah you get a card with a barcode and official supporter number, that is priceless!!

Getting onto the plane for the first time in your life, and Travelling to the Home of football in Australia, Melbourne. Going to the place where your team triumphed by winning the grand final just a couple of years earlier, the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Traveliing all that distance, being very excited, to see your team loose by 100 points exactly. Not being able to cheer for your team and having to bow your head in shame. That really sucks.

Accidentally cheering for an opposition team, while drinking at a match, because the guernseys colours were similar. While facing the end of the ground where the sun was and not wearing sun glasses.

you have only made on a little mistake but it really doesn't make you a supporter.
to me it just shows that port a keen to boost supporter numbers for what ever reason that it means to them.

I've actually signed up for a gold membership for Port Adelaide with my dad, who was already a member for the past few years. I thought, I like live footy, I live in Adelaide (hence not being able to watch the Dogs, unless they play the Crows) and it is actually helping the club out. My dad is thinking of going down to the club store because we get 20% off all merchandise, and because it's end of the season the club is putting all prices down any way, but I don't know if I'll go as far buying some Port apparel. But hey.. I get priority if they make the Grand Final!

Something to this day I've never done - just can't bring myself to cheer on Collingwood.

I'm sure the Pie supporters are likewise towards the Blues too - just as it should be.

But Port giving out free memberships?
