She is trying to protect him because they are still together. She obviously wants to stay with him so she can keep in the spotlight somewhat and be a WAG so he probably told her he'd stay with her as long as she went along with his story.
She's a desperate fame-hungry sad little woman..... sorry, but its the truth !

Don't understand her. There is something just doesn't add up... it looks like those wrestlers on TV when they fight...it just an act. Its obvious that she is trying to protect him as she is still attached to him. No matter what's the outcome there is already a big black spot there..everybody knows.

By the way, is Greg Birds career over? The only time I saw him was probably 2008 in the SOO, he is quite good. Probably he is should go to England or France to play for them...

Wouldn't surprise me if the story is true. I had plates and other assorted items hurled at me by ex girlfriends in the past. In similar cases, Dane Laurie's assault charge was dismissed and although the DPP are pursuing the case against Greg Inglis, it is likely that his charges will be thrown out as well.

With respect to Greg Bird's case, Milligan is on a student visa, so if she was charged with assault she would probably would have ended up deported. Of course, that would have been unlikely, given the presumption of guilt in our society rests with the male.

I think Bird has a massive uphill battle ahead of him, but ultimately, he'll be cleared to play for the Titans and Mason will take up his position at Catalans.

EDIT: So much for the massive uphill battle. Bird has been exonerated.

One thing that stays the same between the stories about this situation is that that both Bird and Milligan end up looking crazy no matter what.

Does it matter what really happened. Alcohol and drugs were the main contributing factors and obviously neither of these people are able to handle them. Neither would have hit either or whatever they are saying if they were not affected by alcohol or drugs.

My bf happened to play Indoor Cricket with Birdy and when it happened he did tell some friends and family the truth and what he told them a yr ago is what is being reported in the papers now. They lied originally to protect his "Image" bt continued so to protect hers .... as a paralegal having that she lied to authorites and abused substances on her record could wreck her aspiring legal career which is why she never made a statement or appeared at court untill now.
As a shire girl im a sharks supported and while i may not get to see him play for us again ... im still looking forward to see him play in the NRL agian!!

What a disgrace! On violence against womens day too! Greg Bird should be wearing thousands of white ribbons but, he is a thug and always will be, leopards do not change their spots.
