Liverpool still have a chance of qualifying if other results go their way. but Barca maybe eliminated if Rubin Kazan win and Inter get a result at Camp Nou.

I'm hoping upon hope for us but have to be honest and say I don't think we're going to make it : (
I think he's a class manager and has already achieved enough to warrant his position. They'll qualify as they are defending champs. So even if things go ti*s up, they'll still get a buy in. Good enough for Liverpool, good enough for Barca. As far as the Barca team goes, they have plenty of class, the only worry would be, if they don't win anything, some of the primadonnas will want to leave.

Its all dependant on Lyon not losing and i can see them wanting to win the group. So win for Lyon and all Liverpool have to do is win both games. draw for Lyon and Liverpool have to win both games and beat Fiorentina by 3 -0. so still possible.
Barca need to beat inter as rubin will beat Kiev.

We all know Liverpool suck. If Barca don't qualify, it will be a Champions League DISASTER. This would be the worst thing to happen to European football since last week (Henry the pleb).

There is no doubt that it will be a far bigger shock if Barcelona don't qualify. First of all, they are defending champions, and considered best in Europe. Liverpool are suffering a shocking run of form (bar their match against Man Utd) and with key players such as Torres and Babel out, their test against Debreceni will be an even greater challenge. Barca on the other hand have qualification much more on their hands, and therefore it will be a bigger shock if they don't qualify.
As for Pep, his team undoubtedly has the potential to win a major trophy, but if Barca are knocked out of the CL, he will probably be sacked.
Rafa is much more likely to be sacked, and I wouldn't be surprised if he was at Real by next season.

well he brought in a number of players, got rid of a number of players and changed the attitude in the dressing room so i'd say he did stamp his authority on the team.

i don't think they'll win the champions lg, as a matter of fact, i think they get knocked out tomorrow. Madrid are showing that they can not play well and still be top of the league. so it looks like the copa del rey or club world cup is the only safe silverware they have.

ps i think Rubin will win against Kiev... this was a tough group, people are looking at Rubin and forgetting they are the Russian champs. They are well organised defensively and tough to break down.

As for Liverpool, may be a good thing to be knocked out & enter the Eroupa Cup comp.I can't see they can advance beyond the quarters in the uefa champion league. So it's better to win the europa cup, a trophy been eluded the english clubs for so long.
