Which player/s do you have the least respect for?

Have you seen players completely snob their fans or ignore the kids, etc..

As well as other on and off field incidents.

Ryles, used to ALWAYS snob the kids at games and fan days. Completely ignored them. After a win when the others are going around seeing the fans, he looked the other way, no autographs, no high fives, complete arrogance!

When I worked in the TAB at the local racetrack; Dan Hunt, would be there with the other players who would all have a chat or at least be friendly. Hunt was rude and arrogant, he was all 'don't you know who I am' and thought his sh*t don't stink. The other players were great. The Morris twins used to have fun with me playing tricks.

Benji Marshall- Trash talks everyone- plain spineless
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves- The way he disrespected Civo in the Four Nations was disgusting
Daniel Vidot- "Yeah I'm so big and tough, I'll fight anyone, I never back down"- What a joke.
Isaac Luke- Just a little mongrel grub on the field
Adam Blair- Dirtiest, sliest player ever
Bronson Harrison- After the chicken wing on Zeb Taia which dislocated his shoulder and took him out of the finals against the Bulldogs, I'll always hate him for that
David Fa'alogo- Dog shot on Anasta, the gutless king hit on the American, hitting J.T, he just thinks he's so powerful but he doesn't realise every time he has hit people it's when they aren't expecting it.
Craig Gower- We all know how feral his off-field behavior was like.

Gives us fans something to laugh at when they stuff up and look stoopid.

Watmough at Manly is my favourite.
He never fails to deliver.
The Manly Daily (local paper) have a healthy love hate relationship with him.
Remember earlier in the year when he slagged off on a sponsor's daughter and then jobbed her dad, lol.

I have seen him plenty of times at Brookie, swanning after some hottie, completely oblivious to the youngsters clamouring for an autograph.

Paul Gallen, without a doubt. He has got to be the lowest slime on any football field he ever steps on. He does anything he can to get the refs to rule his way, even if he has to lock in some of Stuart's tactics on the way.

As for Knights 10; Your hypocracy in this section is unparalleled. You can openly support Paul Gallen for Australian selection, commending his dirty nature, but meanwhile, legitamately tough players like Adam Blair and Isaac Luke who can hardly be called dirty players, are labelled by you as slimeballs.

I have it on good authority that he was always getting thrown out of pubs in Canberra, for being a total wanker. Scary thing is, he's the shining light in his Family. Doesn't say much for the rest of them.

Greg Bird, Todd Carney and Braith Anasta .. their whole attitude says that they are all about themselves. Bird and Carney in particular need a wake up call, and I think Anasta is over rated and arrogant (not to mention a whinger!)

I was never all that keen on Mark Gasnier either, on or off the field. Doesn't anyone remember his State Of Origin Fire Up B***h phone call? He always hung back at WIN Stadium when the other players high-fived kids as well.

I like this question. It raises my memory of 2009.. can't really remember any bad players. By nature, I think they are good.. guess that's the beauty of distance. Have not been in face to face with them like you did.

Bad impression is probably Justin Hodges, got a feeling that he always want to pick up a fight in the field. Just to think if he is off field ... worst. Other than that.. he has not really try a lot as expected by many fans.

Thurston, can get so aggressive in the field that he almost eat up his mates... LOL. But he is just a 110% person. And he played well. I do admire him despite his attitude.

Can't wait for 2010....sigh.

The only player I really don't like is Paul Gallen. I just really don't like his on-field tactics or his 'grubbiness'.
As for CøwbøYs™... yeah I know what you mean, what nationality are most of the people Knights 1- mentioned? Kiwi. How does Benji trash talk people...? Isaac Luke, yeah i'll admit he is pretty fiery, but he makes games entertaining.

Mason, Anasta, Gallen, Bird all complete wastes of space, all believe they are so much better than they are.

I agree with most of the posts here that on the field Hodges is an arrogant c@#k but he was very happy to sign autographs even though I was wearing Raiders gear. I think that is a true test of how snobby a player is, approach them for an autograph wearing the oppositions colours!

Todd Carney is another one I have no respect for, "Lets go Murphys" is spot on, he was in trouble every week, which was a massive shame because he had the talent to be a big time player in a few years but couldn't get off the sauce! I laughed when he went to Innisfail to play up there and live in a pub, he didn't last before being bashed after mouthing off during a night out. Roosters deserve him!!

Hodges is a tool. Carl Webb was always an arrogant moron (esp when he shaved QLD into his head DUHHH).

All the players involved in the off-field dramas I have def lost respect for.

On the other side I went to see Robbie Farah at an Office Works open day but he was overseas playing and Hindmarsh was there instead (1 week before the GF too!). Anyway I turned up in my Tigers gear and he signed stuff for me and even signed a pic of Robbie Farah!! So cute he asked me if I wanted him to sign HIS name or Robbies HAHA.

BTW how does Benji Marshall talk trash?? what a load.

I actually can't say I don't respect anyone. These guys have worked hard to get where they are today. Sure some would rather stare in a mirror than support the game, but I still respect them for how physically strong, and good at the game they are.

@ Jules - I hope you don't give up on Robbie k? and Hindmarsh is the best. Both guys are so cool :)

@ Knights 10 - Sorry mate, but I gotta disagree with your answer. Benji doesn't talk trash. He may play like trash here and there, but he doesn't talk it. And your opinion of other players... Yer I wouldn't bag those guys out.

Well there is only two players in which I have the least respect for and that would be Paul Gallen and Greg Bird.
I just can't stand Gallen he is a mongrel with his awful tackles that he performs it is not good for example the chicken wing someone will get crucially hurt in one of these games.
Greg Bird in my opinion he needs to be shot or sent to prison I hate people who bash women and actually get away with it and another one is Inglis I am starting to lose respect for him but back to Bird say if some non footballer did that 13 years in prison probably so that is my opinion thank you for putting this Question up.
