not sure about anti semitic but i am feeling like it is a witch hunt. i am an old woman - and i agree that this issue is far past the time when it should have been brought to the forefront but i don't like that everyone is condemned on hearsay. what happened to innocent until proven guilty? making it too easy for people to say anything & get away with it just to ruin someone's reputation. that being said - i also feel that if every man that ever inappropriately touched women (or men) were condemned there wouldn't be very many men left behind. i think it's more selective toward men who have money or something people have to gain by going after. you don't see the guy down the street mired in lawsuits & i guarantee you many guys down the street have inappropriately touched people. i also don't think ruining peoples lives now for what they did 40 years ago is the right thing to do. attitudes were different then - may not have been right, but they were different. honestly if someone touched you inappropriately that many years ago - you took care of it right then. and you didn't put yourself in a position to have it happen with the same person again. and you were careful to not be in a position to have it happen with anyone else either. what kind of gullible person would keep going back to someone's apartment, house or hotel room?? common sense seems to be something that is not that common any more. but if this stops men from continuing to think they can get whatever they want from whoever they want, then it is necessary to cause them to think before they act. newton's third law with a universal truth - for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. i strongly agree that in light of all the men that have lost their jobs - why is trump still being protected? i'm thinking those women have been bought or threatened. where are they now? charlie rose is a single guy, came out of the shower naked in his own home & loses his job - yet trump is seen & heard on national tv advising how & where to grab women yet still has his job. you go billy bush! and al franken! .

  • Do you think it's worth it to make corporate tax cuts permanent when it means that 13 million people will lose their health insurance?

i think the better question is is it ok to make permanent corporate tax cuts when you will get permanent increase in your taxes, of course all these yes people will probably be ok with subsidizing corporate america at their own expense. and that's how donald trump got in the white house.

the only thing more pathetic than trump is the group of people that support him. he only won because 46% of the population didn't vote. less than 25% of the population made a conscious choice to vote for that moron.

what's going on is a significant number of men have been making sexual moves on women (and men) for not only years but decades, centuries & in fact - eons. it's never been appropriate if it's unwanted but has always been ignored or accepted as normal male behavior. inappropriate behavior has to stop somewhere & i'm glad to see some light shed on it. however it's not right to dredge up activity from 30, 40, or 50 years ago & hold people by today's standards. also noteworthy it that it's only high profile, wealthy people that seem to be held accountable. what about the rest?! if i went after every man who inappropriately touched me over the years a lot of men would be investigated. if you don't want someone to inappropriately touch you - don't be alone with them. you learn the hard way but there is some contributory responsibility that you have to take for your own actions too. it does seem that only people who think they have something to gain are bringing this to light & that is unfortunate. set a standard & take it forward.
