• How long does it take for your nerves to respond to touch?

Best answer: It depends on the type of nerve and the length of it's path to the brain. For touch, the speed is anything from 3 to 30m per second See the table "Sensory fibre types" in this article.

The play the movie file normally. Any video player that can handle subtitles will automatically find the subtitle file as well as read that. You do not do anything directly yourself with the subtitles. There are several different subtitle file formats and suffixes. Some have one file, some have two. Whichever it is, the same method applies - the file names must all be identical but each keeping its original suffix. In Windows you can't normally change the suffix by accident so just set all the names the same.

Best answer: I think you are talking about two very different things. Who wrote it - and what it does. If you set up a business, even part time or hobbyist, you are "The proprietor" of that business and anything you create (rather than stuff you buy to re-sell) is proprietary to you. So, if you write a program to sell, you own the copyright and the program is also proprietary to you. In many countries copyright is free and automatic, all you have to do is include something like "Copyright © {your name} 2018" in the info or credits, so no one gets the program (or book or whatever) without getting that copyright claim included. The other half is if what the program does infringes someone else's rights or patent etc.. That would be directly copying someone else's work, using someone's trademark in a misleading way, or replicating a unique way of doing something that another person or business has patent on. It's patent or trademark infringement that causes people or businesses to be sued... Comparing Microsoft Office to Openoffice & Libreoffice is a good example. Microsoft office is proprietary to MS, while the others are open source. They all do the same things and can read and write the same files, but the programs themselves are not copies of each other so no problems with them all existing independently.

  • Do you still need to follow torque specification even if you add thread lock on fastening screws?

Best answer: You use the correct torque figure regardless. That sets the holding force between the parts to ensure the whole assembly is rigid and works as the designer intended. The bolts having threadlock on does not change that at all.

A lot of basic keyboards don't have full "rollover" capability and either ignore keypresses or give phantom entries if you press more than a certain number of keys at the same time - as often needed with some games. The media control buttons and volume wheel are useful as well. [I have the one with the Cherry "brown" grade switches - some "feel" to them but not a strong click].

Best answer: The '57 is intended as an instrument mic, but should still be reasonable for voice. It has a flatter output through voice frequencies than the 58, that gives a bit of boost from around 2KHz. In other words, the SM57 you are using should be should be _less_ "toppy".. http://recordinghacks.com/microphones/Sh... http://recordinghacks.com/microphones/Sh... For optimum output you need to be extremely close to an SM58; that's not a problem due to the pop screen. I'm not sure what you do with the 57, to balance distance and breath sounds. It could be something like the phone is picking up a bit more room ambiance so you are getting some natural reverb?? Or if you are trying to record both guitar and vocal at the same time with the same mic - it cannot work well. The SM57 or SM58 mics need to be close to and pointed at the sound source; it cannot be simultaneously close to the guitar and your mouth. You really need two mics (and record to separate tracks so you can adjust and equalise separately). You may get away with a single studio mic, if the conditions you are recording in is just right.. Keep adjusting the mic position to get the correct sound balance. Have look as an MXL V67g for a good value large-diaphragm true condenser, around $100. Or you can get an MXL 990 / 991 kit (two smaller diaphragm ones) for about the same.

Best answer: If the motor has a standard junction box on it with six power terminals, the three at one side are the "start" of each winding. It does not matter which side you actually use, as long as you are consistent. Generally, shorting the three terminals at one side [along the top or bottom in the diagram] and feeding the three at the other side gives "star" configuration and linking so the short circuits are between the two sides, 1-1, 2-2 & 3-3 gives delta [ie. vertical links in that diagram].. eg. showing with links for a fixed star config - the links vertical would give fixed delta: http://www.pcbheaven.com/userpages/image... Trace the terminals through to the other end of the wiring. If there is no terminal box, it gets rather difficult - I'd identify each winding then use "star" by guesswork and try feeding via a resistor bank or three high-power filament lamps with the motor mechanically disconnected. See if it will run or even turn it by hand and feel for "cogging" (if there is not enough power to run it), swapping one pair at a time to test then swap the same one back. You can only have one wrong at worst; either two of three or all three must be in phase one way or the other..

Best answer: You will be fine. Quote: Methylparaben is readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract or through the skin.[5] It is hydrolyzed to p-hydroxybenzoic acid and rapidly excreted in urine without accumulating in the body. If you were a fruit fly, it would be a different matter: To Drosophila, methylparaben is toxic at higher concentrations, has an estrogenic effect, and slows the growth rate in the larval and pupal stages at lower concentrations. It looks like you have seen typical conspiracy junk, taking words out of context. The simple fact is that synthetic foods, flavours, colours and additives etc. are tested to be safe. "Natural" foods are not and are far more likely to be harmful - many common foods would be banned if they had to pass the same safety tests as synthetics. eg. Potatoes contain a glycoalkaloid toxin. Eat a kilo a day for a while and you will get ill (or a small amount that's gone green). Soya contains toxins and hormone analogs. etc. "Natural" and "Organic" are the biggest scam words in food advertising. The single most toxic substance known to man is natural and organic, far stronger than the worst man-made toxin.
