Hey, I need to know if there is a possibility that I have tendonitis.
Recently, I've been having pain at the base of my wrist near the bone.
Whenever I type, it hurts.
If I make my fist into a ball and extend my wrist upwards as far as the joint will allow, it hurts even more.
Same happens whenever I lower the wrist as far as the joint allows.
There is a slight, but nearly impercievable bulge on the top of my wrist at the bone.
In case anyone needs to know, I am a computer artist and student so I use my laptop for at least 5 hours a day.
Whenever I type, I lift my wrists off of the computer, though.
I do use a mouse, quite frequently, because my art calls for it.
I also work out at least 3 hours a week which includes running, lifting weights (mostly targeting my lower body and my triceps), and I play tennis (however, I have not for the past 2 months.)
So, is it possible that I have tendonitis?
If so, what are some easy, home-remedies, as more uncommon resources are not always available to me.
Oh, also, I am taking Darvocet painkillers for my wisdom teeth, and this gets rid of the pain for up to 4 hours.
However, I'd rather find some way to lessen the need for painkillers, because I'd rather not have to endure liver damage.
