My window mounted fan is great. At night it can cool my room from 85 degrees to 75 degrees. However, when I turn it off, my room heats back up again. Since at night it is cooler outside than it is indoors, why the heck does it warm up again? Is heat stored in the walls or something? This is even when I have my electronics turned off.2 AnswersWeather1 decade ago
I'm looking to get more out of my practicing. When you go hit in the range, there is no pressure because you just pull up another ball after a bad shot. I'm open to short game practice tips too, and especially mental / focus tips. Post your overall schedule, I'm looking to do a complete overhaul of my practice habits.11 AnswersGolf1 decade ago
Does the machine assist with a percentage of the weight you put on the bar? Like if I put on and extra 10 lbs, would it support 2 lbs and make the effective weight 8 extra lbs instead of the actual weight you put on (10 lbs)? Sorry if this was confusing, just wondering if the machine supports a flat rate of weight or percentage. The bar by itself feels about 20 lbs. I'd much prefer regular barbell squats but my gym sucks and they have 2 smith machines with no squat racks. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out equivalents. : /3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade ago

If it says for example, "see page 22" on a line in the 1040, what book are they referring to?3 AnswersUnited States1 decade ago
I got out to eat a lot, but even salads are full of dressing and junk. I have high fiber raisin bran everyday, PBJ sandwiches on whole grain, whole grain toast, etc. Sometimes I dump a bag of cauliflower, broccoli florets, and carrots into pasta + sauce I cook, but it doesn't seem like enough!
