  • Looking for song?

I was looking for an old pop-ish song. It was a guy singing, and in one of the lyrics it mentions his son talking to him. And the lyrics went something like,

    "He said dad....."

    "And I said, son..."

  • Old Candy Bar?

Years ago, early 2000s I remember going to Wal-Mart and buying this mint/[peppermint chocolate candy bar. It had a sort of foil/dark green packaging but I cannot remember the name. Does anyone recall this candy bar?

It didn't have a cream in the middle. Pure chocolate minty.

It didn't have a cream in the middle.

The packaging looked similar to this, almost.

  • Is there a way to use Google Maps to find all the different times you visited?

Is there a way to use Google Maps to find all the times you went to a particular store, say Wal-Marts and have it show which addresses you went to?

Tried using the Timeline function but it doesn't show anything for the previous months.

  • Electric machine?

I was looking for something that resembled the 5 Minute Chef machine. It doesn't have the best reviews so I was looking for that did similar things.

Basically the functions of making small or mini cakes, omelets, sandwiches, wraps and rolls.

  • Trying to remember?

Trying to remember a candy bar from back in the early 2000s. Wal-Mart, and it was a chocolate and mint flavor. It came in sort of a foil/green package.

  • When you make a return to Wal-Mart, are they required to give a receipt back?

I returned a t-shirt, and the lady ignored me when I asked for a receipt, and said they don't give them out, and simply just handed the cash back with what I paid and said there's no receipt.

Aren't they required to give a receipt for all returns?

  • How do returns on paypal work?

I made a purchase online at Wal-Mart.com, and I used my credit card through Pay-Pal to purchase the item.

If I go to return the item, how will I be refunded? With a gift card, or can it actually be put back on the card I used through Pay-Pal?

  • Scholarship Question?

I received an email about receiving a scholarship. After I signed and returned the form (because it had certain conditions; maintain a 3.5, etc), I got an email saying the amount I was told was incorrect and it would be half that. Are they able to take back it like that? Can I argue for maybe receiving what they originally promised?

Update: I received an official email from my financial aid office saying I received X amount. It asked me to sign the form and return it, which I did. However, I received an email this morning which basically said "Opps we accidentally wrote the wrong amount, lel."

I didn't break any conditions on the reward. Simply that they had given me a wrong amount. Are they still able to just. Take it back?

  • Drivers who cut through a gas station or other business?

I live in Texas and recently got a ticket for cutting through a gas station but I'm not entirely sure if my reasoning for doing so makes a good defense.

I was at an interaction, with a bus and car in front of me. I had to make a right so I waited. But the light turned red green red but the bus didn't move. I didn’t want to change lanes because the other lane had traffic so I waited. Then the car in front of me goes to the left lane and leaves and then I notice that the bus had its emergency brakes on. So since I wasn’t sure when it would move, I drove through the gas station to get to the other interaction. And that's when the cop ticketed me.

I explained to her that the bus was there for a while and didn't move but she said I was supposed to wait before cutting through the gas station.

    Any thoughts on this?

    Please and thanks.
