I am an American. I love my country and God. I am a naturalist. I believe the healthiest lifestyle is one that includes a diet that is most natural to the body. I call myself an "animal psychic", but use the term loosely. Animals are telepathic -- and I have been blessed with ability to hear them. Yes, really. :)

  • Is there a way to set the Y! Answers feed to display the newest (latest) questions FIRST?

Every time I come on to Y! Answers, in my fave category (Cats), the same Questions display, day after day, at the top of my screen. I have to scroll through pages and pages and pages to find any that were asked in the last few hours. My Data is metered, so I feel this is a huge waste of my data, time, and money....not to mention, if I can help with my Answer to a frantic question about someone s cat, the cat s dead before I can offer my advice (cuz the question is days old). :/ So, is there a way to set the newest questions to appear first? Thanks in advance. :)

Send coupons to any of these bases:

Pass the word to others who clip coupons. Visit CouponMom.com for a lot of money-saving coupons and info. [No, I don't work for CouponMom.... I just want to help our soldiers & their families save money.)

  • In (U.S.) business, if I write-off a $1500 "bad debt", how much might my taxes (due/payable) decrease?

Is there a "rule of thumb" for how much taxes (due/payable) decrease for every, say, $100 "written-off"? {U.S.]

  • IMPORTANT: Where can I find pictures of makes & models of (older) cars?

I want to find a picture of a car that may have been used in the commission of a crime. Since I am not familiar with makes & models of cars, in general, how can I locate a picture of the make & model to help identify it to police?

Is there a website, book, anything, that lists (comprehensively) makes & models -- with photos -- of cars? Do manufacturers show the history of their cars with photos on their sites?...I haven't looked there yet...

    Help is appreciated. :)

    Thank you.

P.S. If police have such a reference, they haven't offered it to me yet.

  • Is anyone else outraged that, while we struggle with gas prices, oil companies are making such HUGE profits?

Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Exxon... all reporting record-breaking earnings while we (in the US) struggle to pay for the gas we need. Earnings of 12-16 Billions and that considers loses due to hurricanes. My faith that God will take revenge comforts me. :)

  • Do you think if we raised a ruckus, we could get Yahoo!Answer points to be recognized as legal tender?

Before you ask, "ruckus" means "noisy confusion, disturbance".

I just think it would be nice if the time we spend here, and the points we collect, had greater value, could buy something, support a lifestyle.

    What do you think?

  • Are questions about Marijuana being deleted by Yahoo?

Someone else asked the questions days ago, and I thought "No, why would Yahoo do that!?" But, I just clicked on one (submitted two minutes prior) and it had been deleted. People can ask disgusting questions containing sexual content that makes me ill and questions about MJ are deleted? Why? Maybe someone from the Yahoo!Answers staff could answer this one. Please?

  • How do students get through school when they can not (or can barely) construct and punctuate sentences?

Years ago, I gave up reading the local newspaper (on a daily basis) because the lack of punctuation made it too difficult. At first, I thought the editor must have been on vacation to let newspapers go on sale that way, but I learned it was a daily event. (Even) now, no matter what newspaper or internet article I try to read, they share a common problem - the lack of proper sentence and paragraph construction.

When I was in grade school, we were brow-beaten to learn that stuff. We had to do it! (And) when no other student seemed interested in learning to diagram sentences, I was challenged by that and learned.

To read questions and details on Yahoo!Answers (and elsewhere) is strong eveidence (to me) that our school system is failing. It seems, no matter what the educational level, people can not (or don't take the time to) construct questions, sentences, and paragraphs properly. Why?

This recipe is for Bread Machines - follow the Machine Manufacturer's Instructions on which order to load ingredients).

You're going to have to Shmooze me to get 10 points on this one -- it is a gift!

Plain or Toasted with butter or jelly, it's terrific! You can actually add Jelly to the recipe [how-to follows].

    Peanut Butter Bread

    Yeast 2 ½ tsp.

    Bread flour 3 cups

    Brown sugar, packed ¼ cup

Chunky peanut butter ½ cup (room temperature)

Very warm water 1 ¼ cups

    Use the White Bread setting.

For Peanut Butter & Jelly Bread:

Add 2 Tablespoons of grape or strawberry jelly and 2 T ablespoons of white sugar, omit the brown sugar. The crust may get dark, so set the lightness control between medium and light.

    ENJOY!!

  • Could "Jesus" be a Woman?

"There is neither male nor female in Christ Jesus...", Scriptures say. So, perhaps "Jesus Christ" merely defines a title. Could "Jesus Christ", incarnate, be a woman? If she were, could you accept that (easily)?
