  • What's going on with my iPhone 5S?

Been having issues lately. Will rarely read my finger to unlock the screen, sometimes the text message volume will be incredibly loud when I only have it set on volume 1 and my battery dies all the time. It will go from 40% to 12% instantly but the second I plug it in, it's back at 34%. I've let the phone die completely and have done a recharge, I never charge it overnight, I've deleted all my fingerprints and re-added them. Nothing is helping and I can't figure out what is going on.

  • creating a facebook page help please?

I am creating a FB page for the business where I work. We cannot have the page linked to any individual's FB page in case that person leaves or is fired.

I followed the instructions by going to the Create a Page site for FB. I entered the category, business name and clicked Get Started. It then asked me to log in or create an account. I created an account but of course that creates a personal profile and then the business page separately.

We are on Wedding Wire and if I try to link FB and WW together, it will post everything to the personal profile (which obviously has nothing on it) instead of the business page.

I really am pretty smart with technology but I feel like I'm missing a step or not doing something right. Help!

  • Music problems with iPhone 5s?

I generally don't have any music on my phone since I keep it all on my iPod but with my iCloud back up, a few songs did load on my phone and I'm having some issues.

1 -- if I don't have the music downloaded to my phone but rather it's playing directly from iCloud, the music skips...a lot. Ever listen to satellite radio and it will go in and out when it's trying to link or with bad weather? Yeah that's what I get. Not a huge deal because as I said, my music is mostly on my iPod but still it's annoying.

2 -- Say I have 5 songs on my iPhone and I want to play song 2. I click on song 2 and guess what? Song 1 starts playing. I have to select song 3 to get song 2 to play. Anyone else experience this? I haven't had the opportunity to connect my phone to iTunes yet to remove and re-add any of the music I want but I hope that fixes it.

  • No iOS 7 for 3rd gen iPad?

I have the update available for my iPhone 4s (Although I'm not downloading it because I'm getting the iPhone 5s) but I confirmed the new operating system would be available for iPad but it's not showing as an option for me yet.

Does it take a while for it to be available for everyone? I know tons of people are downloading it and Apple is probably slammed but I'd like to download it!

  • Graphics card crashes during the Sims 3?

Recently I've had the urge to play The Sims 3. My graphics card is crashing all. the. time. and it's starting to get reallllllly annoying. It would sometimes be completely random but now I've noticed if I'm zoomed in a decent amount it will crash or if I try rotating the view or an object. It just crashed when the game zoomed into my sim who is aging up.

Sometimes it can recover but 90% of the time it results in the blue screen of death on my 2 year old laptop and I want to cry.

I have an HP Pavilion dv7, Windows 7. I have no idea how to find other spec information.

    Any suggestions?

  • Do you think I'll be a bridesmaid?

One of my friends just got engaged and she has talked to me about her idea for the bachelorette party and she also said I need to be with her when she tries on and buys a dress.

I don't want to assume I'm going to be a bridesmaid but I also feel like those are things typically a bridesmaid is around for.

  • Have you watched America's Next Top Model Cycle 17 & 18?

I'm currently watching Cycle 18, British Invasion and I just finished the episode where the girls are recording their group music video. Lisa D'amato from cycle 17 shows up and makes a comment how she won that challenge in her cycle.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Allison won that challenge?

  • How do I fix Outlook 2007?

Okay here's what happened. I have Outlook 2007 at work (we can't have a new version...2007 is the only allowed one) and it crashed on me. When it reloaded the right hand reading pane was no longer there and I think I may have messed it up as I was clicking on things to try to fix that (which I did fix it).

When I reply to any message in my inbox, the email gets sent to the top of my inbox. For example: if I got an email at 3 pm on Friday and I responded to it at 7 am on Saturday, it will now show up filtered to be 7 am on Saturday in my inbox instead of when it was originally received.

How do I fix that? I swear I'm not an idiot and I've tried to look at the settings but I have never used Outlook before this job so I'm really not terribly familiar with it.

  • Does your Burt's Bees smell weird?

I've been using Burt's Bees regular lip wax for years. A few weeks ago I bought an extra one at Wal Mart because I was running low. I opened it and it has this very powerful, awful floral scent and I can't bring myself to use it. Thinking I was crazy I asked my mom for a 2nd opinion and she agreed. I checked the packaging but it's not labeled with a scent. Anyone else notice a change or do you think it was a fluke?

  • What are the chances that I'm pregnant?

5 weeks ago a guy I have been seeing and I had sex 3 times in the course of 24 hours. We used condoms (I'm not on birth control) but there was about 5 minutes total where he wasn't wearing one. He didn't ejaculate during this time.

While I did get my period, it was shorter than normal by about 1.5 days which has us both a little concerned. The color and flow was consistent with my normal periods but the length has thrown us both off.

I have googled all sorts of early pregnancy symptoms and I don't have morning sickness, no spotting, I don't have to pee a lot, I haven't broken out in acne or had cravings for food.

Do you think I'm safe? I would say yes but he has me completely freaked out.

  • Kind of irregular period?

I've had my usual PMS symptoms...I've been a little irritable and emotional, I've had tenderness in my breasts and I've felt slight cramping. I thought I got my period today when I went to the bathroom but it's been about 3.5 hours and I don't see any blood. Around Christmas the same thing happened to me where I had all the symptoms but it was really light or non-existent for a few days. Could this be due to anything? Or is my body just being weird?

Of course googling this brought up the fact that I could be pregnant but I'm fairly certain I'm not. 1 partner recently, have used condoms for all except 2-3 minutes but there was no ejaculation. Yes I am aware pre-ejaculation can get a female pregnant but I feel certain I'm not pregnant.

  • Do I have an STD or maybe just a sore?

On Thursday I noticed a flesh colored bump on my vag, not inside, but on the outside. It hurts a little when I touched it and also itches a little bit when touched (not continuous but almost like when you first notice a bug bite and it itches)

There's no white head or anything on it, just a smallish flesh colored bump. I was a little sore in that area a few nights previous after having a go with my fella so I'm hoping it's just a sore but I'm not sure.

  • Hilton Garden Inn and benefits?

Do ALL Hilton Garden Inns offer benefits? I know most of them do but I'm curious to see if it's a requirement. I haven't been able to find the information online. I really need concrete answers as opposed to "i think so" please.

  • How does your job handle time off requests?

I'm a manager for an independently owned hotel. Each year we experience trouble with employees asking for holidays off (thanksgiving, christmas eve and christmas day in particular). It becomes a huge mess and we end up with really light staffing and unhappy employees (such as myself as I'm working my 6th Thanksgiving in a row).

The GM and I have been trying to bounce ideas off each other about how to best go about having employees request those days off and how to honor those requests. As of right now (as we've done the past 5.5 years since the hotel opened) we have a calendar and employees just write their name down to request a day off. It's difficult to determine in advance how many employees will be needed since staffing is always based on occupancy. However, we need at least 3 people for the day and 3 people at night not to mention an overnight person and a potential room service staff member.

The owners of the hotel do not allow for holiday pay or overtime so paying extra unfortunately isn't an option. While the current GM and I have worked this job through our college years and have always worked at least half a shift on those holidays, we have new employees who come in and get those days off. The reasons are always "I'm traveling" or "I won't be in the state" or even "yeah, I'm not working on Christmas." It's absolutely infuriating because I don't get the option to say I don't feel like working and then I get the day off.

For holidays though this really doesn't work. How should we do this? Seniority? Written requests? How do you guys do it at work?

  • Can your car get repossessed?

  • What are some good gifts?

I always have trouble buying a Christmas gift for my brother in-law. He likes to cook but he and my sister have so many cook books already. He works at a boatyard so he's into boating and the ocean and stuff like that...he has a side business for cleaning and maintaining boats. He also got his degree in Geography or map making, something along those lines and he loves to read. He already has a Kindle and I got him a gift card last year for it.

Any ideas for him? I want to give more than just a gift card again this year.

In addition, my sister has a new business designing wedding invitations, party invitations etc and is a Day of Coordinator for weddings. I'd like to get her something useful for Christmas but I haven't the slightest idea as to what. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • Can you buy single shipping boxes at Staples?

I need to buy just a single box for shipping an item and went to the website to browse their selection and found the one I think would fit my needs. However, they show 25/bundle or 15/bundle on their website. Their online chat currently isn't available and I was wondering if they even sell single boxes as I don't want to drive there and waste my time.
