  • How to introduce two scared dogs.?

I have a 5 month old blue heeler/Australian Shepherd mix, who we have had since he was 8 weeks and we just rescued a 10 month old male German Shepherd. We tried to introduce them at the park for a neutral meeting but my puppy barks when he is scared which in return caused the other dog to bark and try to run away. I was told the German Shepherd hasn’t ever been in public but is good with people. My dog is the opposite he is good in public but not with people. We tried to introduce them in the kennels but the German Shepherd doesn’t seem to like my dog. He wagged his tail for a little then started barking aggressively. I know my dog won’t try to hurt him because is scared of other dogs but I’m afraid the German Shepherd will hurt him. I am unsure how to handle dogs meeting each other and I need advice.

  • Dog food recommendations?

I have a 5 month old Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix and a 10 month old German Shepherd. I need recommendations on a fairly cheap brand of food to get the both of them. I would prefer them be the same food but can be different. It would help if it was all stages of life so they can eat it whenever but if not then I would like recommendations on adult food to give them in the future. I would like the food to be as good for them as possible for dry food. I buy from petsmart. Basically I want good quality for not as expensive. Thank you in advance!

  • My puppy ate oatmeal raisin cookies?

It’s only been about an hour but my dog got a hold of some oatmeal raisin cookies. He ate 2 of them completely. I read symptoms to look for but he already has those symptoms due to getting ahold of something else earlier in the day (when he eats basically anything other than his food and an occasional snack he gets diarrhea) he is about 6 months old and he weighs about 35-40lbs. I have read that I should take him to a vet immediately but I have also read to watch him for 48 hours. I am scared because me and my boyfriend work full time and so we can’t watch him tomorrow. He already urinates a lot bc he has a weak bladder (bc he’s a puppy) so it’s hard to tell if he will be urinating more. I do not have the money to go to the vet (I just started my job and I’m moving out in 2 weeks) so I would like to know if this is a serious issue before I panic and take him in. Thank you

  • Pre-calculus question?

A pilot flies in a straight path for 1 hour and 30 min. She then makes a course correction, heading 10 degrees to the right of her original course, and flies 2 hours in the new direction. If she maintains a constant speed of 685 miles per hour, how far is she from her starting position?

  • I can’t hold my bladder.?

I just recently got treated for a bad uti and finished the medicine 5 days ago. During that uti I had an incident where I was in the bathroom and all of the sudden I had to pee really bad and as I was holding it I somehow peed myself without realizing it. Well after that I cannot seem to hold my bladder at all. I have to pee constantly and it seems like I have to pee really bad but when I go (barely making it and/or leaking the whole way there) I barely actually go. Should I see my doctor about this or will this stop?

  • I have an interview for a department store.?

I have an interview for home goods and I’m nervous because the only experience I have is mostly fast food. I also worked at a movie theater, but that’s almost the same thing. I show up to work everyday and will even sometimes come in extra. I work very hard and try my best to do everything correctly. How can I point this out in the interview without directly saying it? I have cashier experience as well and I’m not sure if any of my past experiences would be considered customer service experience. They always ask “why should we hire you” and frankly I don’t know how to word it.

    2. -18sin(6x-pi/5) [0, pi/3]

    3. -28cos(26x-pi/3) [0, pi/13]

    4. 4cos(14x+pi/3) [0, pi/7]

Some explanations on the problems would also be very helpful! Thank you!

  • I am considering getting a degree in sociology: criminology?

I want to major in criminology but I have a few concerns. I have looked up jobs you can get with that degree and I always get the basic answer like police officers, detective, social worker etc. I do want to work on the law enforcement side but I’m not sure that I really want to go to the police academy or be a police officer in general. My main goal was to just investigate crimes but to be a police detective you have to be a police officer (which I don’t really want to do). I read somewhere that to be an fbi special agent police background is not required since they have to train you anyway. So I was wondering if there were any other jobs in law enforcement that I could do in the mean time that doesn’t require being a police officer first. I was reading into crime scene investigators and I’m not sure if I would have to have a minor in something else first or if there was a job where I could just have the criminology degree and a minor in criminal justice. I would like to be involved in helping with cases but not really the center of it. Can anyone help?
