  • How do you get your daily dose of Tumeric?

So I just learned from Dr. Greger that I should be including Tumeric in my diet on an almost daily basis. I use it in my tofu scramble which is not something I make very often. What else should i use it in?

  • Has anyone seen What the Health?

Just found out about this movie by the guys who did Cowspiracy. Sort of what Cowspiracy did with environmental concerns this movie does with Health concerns. Here is a link to the preview. https://youtu.be/Jf44vLndiRM Oh yeah. i know this is a statement thinly disguised as a question.

  • Vegans, what is your favorite source of info now-a-days.?

When I first starting thinking about being a vegan it was the library and books. But books are so 20th century. Later it was podcasts. Now I get news and info delivered right to my inbox. And sometimes i watch a YouTube video. But I don't seem to have a favorite anymore. So I was wondering if thats typical or maybe I'm missing out on something. show more

  • Tyson just bought Beyond Meat, a plant based meat substitute company. As vegans, how should we feel about this?

I'm torn. if i buy some Beyond Meat I'm supporting Tyson. But at least Tyson isn't investing more money into chicken factories.

  • Whats your favorite tool to help you eat healthy and lose weight?

Mine used to be SparkPeople. but recently I've converted to Cron-o-meter. I like cron-o-meter better because the graphical display is just so much simpler to read and understand. but it doesn't have as large a food database. Do you like one or the other? or a different one?

I have a 99 Honda Prelude. I've tried a couple of different cleaner/polishers but I only got it a little better. Is there something that can be done? Should I replace them with original equipment or an after market product. Anyone have a success story?

By the way, Taco Bellnow has a Vegetarian Certified Menu. http://www.eater.com/2015/10/1/9431775/t... One of my vegan friends thinks so. but i am not sure.

  • Vegans and vegetarians, what is your favorite slogan?

Seems like its time to take a break and cool the rhetoric, baiting, and bashing again. If someone has already used your favorite slogan, give them a thumbs up and try to think of another one. I will award "Best Answer" to the slogan with the most thumbs up. No attribution is necessary. But slogans by definition are short and easily recited.
