Do you think that the Cubs have the same problems as the White Sox with their offense and defense? And, if the Cubs are to snap their recent losing streak and start climbing their way back to first place in the NL Central, which players need to step up their performance?

I am waiting for the Cubs to put the offense and pitching together, and string together a long winning streak, like they have in recent years, but I feel like the Cubs have the same problems on offense as the White Sox, yet I keep reminding myself that they are too talented to continue struggling and failing to execute offensively too much longer. As part of my three part-question, do you think the Cubs are a step too slow at the plate? What do you attribute the Cubs' sluggish start on offense towards? And, can they overcome their sluggish start on offense and start winning again?

The players, the coaches, the athletic director, the school president and the fans deserve a great deal of the blame for their poor performance against UMBC last night in the NCAA tournament, but what really hurt Virginia's chances was DeAndre Hunter's injury. If there's one lesson to be learned in the NCAA tournament, it's that if you play fundamentally dumb basketball at any point in the tournament, your team is DOOMED and they will drown in a bloody, bloody red sea of "What ifs?" I didn’t expect that the Blackhawks’ tendency to play fundamentally dumb hockey, Chicago-style would catch up to them, but it has, and I personally pin the blame on the players as well as on Coach Joel Quenneville for failing to show any accountability for their inconsistent play on defense or their constant failure to execute on the power play. I think taking some time off is a good thing for the Blackhawks, because the whole team is guilty of doing too much offensively and on the power play, and getting very careless with the puck on defense, and not once during the first half of the season, have they shown any accountability for their costly mistakes or their lack of discipline on defense. I am worried that unless the Blackhawks clean up their mistakes on defense and execute better on offense and on the power play, their promising season could disintegrate into one full of "What ifs?" compounded by an avalanche of missed opportunities to win games, because they constantly failed to execute on the power play. Do you agree that the time off will help the Blackhawks regroup and refocus on what they need to do to improve their inconsistent and sometimes poor play on offense, special teams and defense to make the playoffs?
