• Should I clear the browser s cache ?

I know technically the cookie is responsible for saving your password, etc., but are your entries stored in the cache ? Does it keep some sort of trace ? For example, if you make a transaction, does your browser store your info in some way ? I d just like toget a vulgarized answer ! :)

  • What does Israel's claim to land rest on ? (PLEASE READ DETAILS)?

This is an actual question. Yesterday some Israeli teenager badgered me with countless messages trying to "educate my fat media-lobotomized ***" because I had said online that I disliked Israeli policies. Now I don't have a very throrough knowledge of this part of the Bible, but from I what I could gather through her very obnoxious ravings was that, basically, there were Jewish people who got expelled from around Jerusalem by the Romans and that they were now coming home. I get this has a certain value, but I'm a bit intrigued... - Does the Bible define a specific geographical area for Judea ? - Do the people "going home" to Israel now really have anything to do with those who were expelled by the Romans ? - However valid those claims by the Jews might be... how about the people who have been living there since and seemingly have nothing to do with what the Romans did... don't they have an ancestral right after so many centuries... ? I know I'm basically asking Yahoo to solve the middle-east right now, but I'd like to have interesting answers from different points of view :)

  • Did Tennessee Williams speak french at all ?

In a streetcar named desire, the name of the house is Belle Reve. Every analysis I've read says it literally means "beautiful dream", but that's actually technically incorrect. I was wondering if that was done on purpose of if it's just a silly mistake from his part ?

  • What is Islam to Muslims?

I wish to study religious influence in Mid-Eastern world. I wish Muslims would honestly tell me, in "one" word, what Islam means to them. Racist sh!theads will not be any helpful, (being American I know well enough about anti-Muslim culture.) I'd really appreciate to hear about what Islam is to actual (and respectful) Muslims is. Anyone up ? I'm really opened minded. My friends are either Algerian or Iranian, so anyone in between is really welcome ! Much thanks if you're being sweet ! Have a great day ! (انش الّه)

Now there's cracks on the glass and the touch screen, while still responsive in the upper part, won't respond at all at the bottom where the crack is. Now here is the question : can anyone tell me whether the entire display has to be changed, or is there a "glass piece" on top that can simply be replaced ? [I have no idea how touch screens work, if there are differents parts to them or what] Cause the liquid cristals (or w-ever they are) still seem good shape... I'm pretty much a newbie about this kind of hardware, so I'm not sure if I express myself well and I'm certainly not sure that my question isn't entirely retarded, but if anyone could provide some enlightenment that would be great. Phone is otherwise in great working condition, is pretty much brand new, however not insured... and, well, my friend is tied to a contract and wouldn't enjoy paying so much as 200$ or so for a new phone. Note : ebay gives me results for a digitizer ? Could that be a part useful to change since the LCD still seems to work fine ? Thanks to anyone who provides pertinent help/info.

  • Dropped my phone in water and plugged it...?

See, I had a Nexus S in very good condition, however the other day when I woke up from a night of partying, I plugged it in to charge it and it just went all crazy. When I took off the back cover I saw it was full of water. I then unscrewed the next part of the cover to see the actual inside of the phone, and most of it seems... well, rusty, obviously. The metal parts have mostly gone whitish-grey and full of calcium. Now, the thing is, on that phone were lots of threatening messages from my ex that I wanted to show the police as proof. Does anybody think/know if there is any way/chance at all to ever get back some data from that phone ? Those messages were the only proof I had against him :( if anyone could help that would be terrific ! Thanks !!

  • I don't know how to deal with my ex boyfriend...?

OK. First I'm 22, not 12. I have recently been dating a Muslim (I have many decent Muslim friends, though HE is the kind that gives them a bad name. He's the nasty stereotypical mysoginist who actually flat-out said that women had never done anything for humanity, ever) for a few weeks, although I got rid of him because he was litterally going crazy. First he used the fact that I was drunk and half asleep to have sex with me although I'd told him I wanted to wait. And he didn't even put on a condom (!!!!) And then one day he started telling me all that crazy nonsense about having been played with, and calling me names (whore, easy, *****, stupid, liar, hypocrit) after I told him that I thought he was going too fast into the relationship and I was feeling a little forced into the relationship (I'm a very anxious person so I like to take it slow). that night he actually sent me about 200 text messages in roughly 4 hours, all of them full of really paranoia-founded insults. When I stopped responding, he threatened to tell my best friend that I was a complete ****. Of course I could care less what he tells her, but he actually started harrassing her about it both times he saw her since (they have friends in common). Plus apparently he has started constantly texting some of our friends if they don't "Like" his facebook posts as soon as he posts on their "Walls" to find out why they're not responding. The guy smokes a lot of pot, and I think he also likes to do lines. However, normally I'd just avoid him, but someone has thrown me and my best friend a birthday party (yeah, cheesy, we share the same birthdate) at some bar tonight and since it's a public place, well, I can't stop him from coming. The thing is, he kinda scares me. I mean, he seems to go completely offtrack paranoid. Plus, he's a Muslim and even though as I said I KNOW most of them are super nice people, we've all heard the story of the girls who get acid thrown to their face...:/ I just don't know what to do :( I can't call the cops, cause I'd basically have nothing to tell them since he hasn't been threatening me directly or harassing me, and the rape argument would be invalid aswell cause alcohol is not an excuse... but I'm scared, still I don't wanna skip my birthday party cause some old friends of mine are going to be in town tonight and I'd really like to see them :( Anyone got an advice ? (and this is Canada, I don't own a gun, haha)
