Thanks in advance for any advice! I am a ballet dancer, which means I have my hair pulled up in a tight top bun nearly everyday throughout the week and during performances I have to put like half a bottle of hairspray in my hair. I know its taking a toll on my hair and have noticed more breakage and fallout than ever before. Is there some way to help with these issues since I have to keep my hair up everyday? And for performances is there some sort of safer alternative than half a can of hairspray to keep my hair secure?3 AnswersHair2 weeks ago
My forehead will not stop breaking out, and I mean WILL NOT STOP breaking out. It has been months of this with no end in sight. I have tried products that consisted of benzoyl peroxide and products that use salicylic acid, and both will work for a short period of time before stopping and showing no results. Could it be helpful to use them at the same time since they are different kinds of products or should I switch back and forth between them? Is there anything else I can try? I am open to any and all suggestions. I have tried drinking more water, but that didn't seem to change anything and I always wash my face twice a day as well as make sure that I am sleeping on clean pillowcases. Thank you so much if anybody has any advice or guidance in this field!1 AnswerSkin Conditions1 month ago
Hello! So when I was younger my hair was a really light blonde, but as I have gotten older it has gotten darker and has a more of a brassy tone. I would very much like to go back to a lighter tone (even if its not as light as before) without bleaching my hair. I have never dyed or bleached my hair, so I was wondering if purple shampoo would even do anything to my natural color.
If it does work on natural blondes, will the results not be as extreme as they would be with bleached hair since its not as porous? I'm not looking to go full platinum and understand that's probably not achievable, but I'm just hoping to not have such a brassy tone over my hair. Thanks in advance for any info, it is much appreciated!!1 AnswerHair4 months ago
I was thinking the first one would be dependent and the second is independent? I just need someone to check that for me.
Are being in the 31 – 45 age group and having incomes over $60,000 independent?

So the problem is to make a geometric sequence of 5 terms and then find the explicit nth term formula. Below is what I came up with, but I know its wrong based on the end result and I don't understand where I messed up.
I was trying to use 1 as the first term, 6 for the nth term, and 2 as the common ratio.
My 5 term sequence:
1 2 4 8 16My formula:a_n=ar^n-1a_6=1x2^6-1a_6=2^7a_n=1281 AnswerHomework Help7 months ago
