Would you like if there was already a computer there with a good large drawing tablet, 2 screens and all the software you would need. Adobe, autodesk, etc. It would cost a little more monthly
would you rather just bring your own PC and set up. And you would have to supply all the software you need yourself1 AnswerDrawing & Illustration1 year ago

Twisted my ankle playing soccer about 4 weeks ago. Really large chunk of my foot and ankle swelled up a lot and turned purple.
Went to doctor 3 weeks after the injury, and found that nothing was broken.
Swelling is almost completely gone, but i find now if i point my toes upwards, it hurts my Achilles. Sometimes walking starts to strain it as well. Whats that about? what can i do to get better?1 AnswerInjuries3 years ago
like how has it affected your tastes, preferences, and opinions. Even opinions on how you feel about the genre now or how the genre has changed over time.
For instance, ive been watching anime for around 11 years now. I used to only enjoy shonen shows and not think too much about plot and stuff like that. Now I've realized that most shows are quite unamazing. A lot of the same stuff is just rehashed over and over again (this actually applies to all forms of media). That's however, when I realized that that didn't matter as much to me, because I enjoy the fight scenes more than anything. And I mean well animated fight scenes - not like the flashes of light DBZ give us (I love dbz btw - the fights were just not well animated).
I also study animation, so that affects how I judge shows these days too. Scene selections, animations, coloring are stuff I think about now too.
this is just myanimelist if you want to see what kinda of stuff im into (ive watched a lot of anime in my time)15 AnswersComics & Animation6 years ago
Ive seen it all in the past, currently im on season 2. I had totally forgotten about Kendra, but seeing her again made me wonder. Why didn't the watchers start a practice of drowning and reviving slayers. They coulda gotten so many extra slayers that way.1 AnswerOther - Television6 years ago
Rather, why are people so hung up on the term manga. Youre not going to be a manga artist in japan. If you want to produce and sell your own comic then you definitely should. But your going to be doing it in the west, so just produce your comic and say its a comic (because manga = comics) with art influenced by the manga style.1 AnswerComics & Animation6 years ago
Whats your top 10 or top whatever martial arts anime. It doesn't even have to be techinically a martial arts anime, but any anime with good choreographed and animated fights. Preferably between cool characters. Also, seeing the action is important, im not interested in just flashes of light, I wanna see the movements (so sorry DBZ, your awesome, but your out)6 AnswersComics & Animation6 years ago
Im a straight guy, so I dunno if that has an affect - but im just trying to understand some of these fangirls just a little more. So let me add a little disclaimer: im not trying to offend anyone and Im always speaking in general terms, I know animes can have different styles, but lets be realistic, we all know which style ima talk about since its the iconic one.
For girls I can understand, you just give them ridiculous body proportions, and that's generally enough for a guy to find them attractive. Or, you make them lolis - I don't understand the appeal in this either, but that's a question for another day.
SOooo, i dont see how its the same for guys, in general terms, i find most anime guys seem to have the same face (boxy and pointy face + big eyes) and body structure (skinny frame + elongated limbs), just different clothes and hair. Essentially, theyre super lanky, skinny guys.
I know a little bit about anatomy and perception. Anime guys are pretty much how humans view other humans in their mind, which Is anatomically incorrect, but somehow feels better to us. So maybe it has to do with that...
So is it...
all in the attitude?
are their physical features actually attractive?
is it something else?
did I put way too much thought into this (probably)5 AnswersComics & Animation6 years ago
So anything like young justice or spawn or even family guy or archer
Perhaps give picks for teens and adult separately4 AnswersComics & Animation7 years ago
So another year is about done, so i thought it would be interesting to ask. In terms of what came out in a specfic year or amount of great shows that came out that year, what year do you think is the best and why. If the animes ongoing, or played throughout multiple years - take the year it came out.
Im not sure either which year was the most awesome, 2013 is about done and i think it was pretty poor animewise. I think 2012 was a lot better with shows like Psycho-pass, SAO, fate/zero, jormangandr, shinsekai yori and more but what do others think.5 AnswersComics & Animation7 years ago
There is supposed to be 4 seasons of korra and im thinking, shes mastered all the elements, the spirit world and there is litterally no one stronger than the people she has fought. i dont think A blood bender and an evil avatar can be topped.
I can assume, that spirits and people living together might be a source of conflict, but there needs to be more than that of course, there needs to be a villain.
Apparently the lion turtles are who gave out bending, but what happened to people learning bending from animals. Like earth from moles, fire from dragons, air from bison and water from the moon (not technically an animal).
Also if the lion turtles stopped giving out bending, how did people still have it later.
i find it used to be pretty cool, and i was down for a tournment based series. I liked how he drew the fights and i was even ok when they started to have "God" powers, thought it could be sick.
But then, they decided to never use half the characters introduced instead of showing us the whole tournament. Then for some reason Jinmori becomes the monkey king and now who knows wtf is happening. Random and unexplained time skips are great and its like the whole plot just became convuluted for no reason.
this will contain spoilers.
Steins;gate is a good, entertaining show, and i would recommend it to everyone, but
time seems to function both linearly and with multiple dimensions (string theory).
Im pretty sure these 2 are mutually exclusive. Like going back in time shouldnt change your current timeline, it should merely create another, just like all his d-mails were doing.
Also even if we ignore that, i dont see how fooling his past self into thinking Kurisu Makise is dead would cause her not to die. I can see how it would lead to Okabe starting his whole d-mail experience, but if people are fated to die in certain timelines, then wouldnt kurisu still die?
and Okabe, he goes through timelines never realising that the only person who's life will change is his own, wont all the other timelines still exist where people die, wars happen, or sterns takes over. He's not trully saving anyone. Isn't he just trying to find a timeline that works in his favor? (Makisa kind of mentions this to him near the end, which made me glad, because i was wondering how no one had addressed it prior to that). Like Makise and Mayuri are gonna survive in like an infinite amount of other timelines anyway and die in an infinite amount of them too no matter what Okabe does.
i find some stuff doesnt make a lot of sense, at least to me anyway. This is just a couple things ive thought of, what do you guys think. Maybe you can explain this, or have you noticed other things?3 AnswersComics & Animation7 years ago
im not a big rewatcher of shows... though i think im at the point where ive been watching for so long and have seen so many, that im forgetting some stuff from the older series ive watched.
ive seen all this http://myanimelist.net/animelist/lunaticsrus&s=, but Ive only rewatched
digimon seasons 1,2,3
(these last 3 were me just rewatchin things from my youth)
sooo what are shows you guys just cant get enough of, that uve rewatched a couple times.12 AnswersComics & Animation7 years ago
I heard steins;gate was good but i know its by the same makers as Chaos;head. I didnt enjoy chaos;head so i dunno what to think. Same thing with robotic;notes, is that any good.
and i guess i prefer series with a healthy amount of action and thrillers aren't typically my thing, but i have enjoyed a couple.
and as a side thing, this is my list :http://myanimelist.net/animelist/lunaticsrus
