Why is DirectX no longer written for Windows XP?
The OS is supposedly still supported. but is it realy?
Your use of the DirectX leverage to sell Vista is unethical.
In my opinion...for what it's worth;probably nothing!
Vista is a bastard OS much the same as Windows me.
I'm not looking for eye candy but rather functionality!
Though I am looking forward to Windows 7 release,
I probably wont be buying a PC in the near future.
I have been a loyal PC gamer for more than 30 years.
And finaly, I am conscidering the un-imaginable!
Purchasing a consol for gaming.
As my 1 1/2 year old Gamer's PC is almost obsolete!
It seems to me and I am sure others will agree,
$1200 for a PC and $400 for an OS Is a little too costly to play a $79 game.
And with the upcomming release of DirectX11,will my DirectX9c be capable of playing next generation games?
I think not.
Will you include code support for Windows XP with the new
DX 11 release?
I think you should.
It would show your appreciation for your loyal Microsoft fans who have been with you since the old DOS days.
And show you are not all about the money.
