For the past week or so it’s been waking me up at night (I always sleep with my knees bent, even just a little bit). It hurts really bad when it wakes me up so I straighten it out, which always hurts even worse, but then after stretching my leg out it gets so bad it feels like someone’s lit a fire between my joints. I initially thought the pain was due to me constantly sitting with my legs crossed but I stopped doing that after it started bothering me and it’s only getting worse. What should I do?

But then I tried other foods, foods I normally love — like chocolate, tacos, breakfast sandwiches, sweetened coffee, fried potatoes loaded with spices, ramen noodles, vegetables — and nothing tastes good. My sense of smell seems to be effected by my sense of taste so nothing smells right either. I still have an appetite, and I’m not sick or anything. I’m starting to get frustrated now. I do get frequent anxiety attacks but I've gotten good at hiding them. I have severe depression and GAD; I isolate myself from others, I cry often, I either sleep too much or too little, I self-harm, I have suicidial thoughts and tendencies, I have a huge aversion to being touched, I can't get a job (I've been babysitting for money), I skip classes or whole school days because I often feel like I'm going to breakdown, I get lost easily because of my bad memory/overthinking, and all in all I just always feel miserable and lethargic. I feel like a service dog could really help me on my path to recovery, but again, I know there's people that really need them and I don't think I qualify.

It's been bothering my sleep and it hurts whenever I tilt back my head or pull back my shoulders. One of the vertebrae (in the exact point of pain) seems to be jutting out a bit, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or not. My posture isn't too bad and I'm not sitting hunched over a screen all day, so I know it's not from that. Do I have a pinched nerve or something?

My chest and spine were stiff this morning, and there was a sharp pain in my ribs whenever the car hit a bump in the road. My side seems to be swollen, and it hurts to touch, but there's no bruising and only a mild pain whenever I cough or laugh. Half of the time there is no more pain than usual if I take a deep breath. Also, just recently the muscles around my ribs have randomly started to twitch every once in a while, and when I take a deep breath I feel a sort of popping, like its the floating rib moving out of place then back again.

Now, I get cramps in my ribs, I get light-headed, and I'm slow. I'm fit, too, and try running every day. Sometimes I get a strange "twinge" in my chest. It feels quite strange, and renders me breathless for a second. I also heat up easily, meaning that if I work out with a group of people and they're just a bit sweaty, I'm red in the face and have sweaty hands for the rest of the day. Do these things mean that I have some sort of heart condition? And if so, how serious? Should I consult a doctor?

All my dog has ever shown me is love and affection. He'd be at my feet all day and rarely leave my side. And at night, he'd cuddle with me. Then I had a sleepover and came back the next day. I've had a lot of sleepovers, and when I came back, my dog would be overjoyed. But this time when I returned, he barely gave me a second glance. He wouldn't come when I called, so if I wanted to pet him, if have to find him and pet him. So, when I'm away, my dog sleeps with my brother and supposedly howls for me while I'm gone. My brother's room is right across from mine. Last night, the night after I came back from that sleepover, I heard him coming down the stairs and went to stand in my doorway to wait for him so I could help him up onto my tall bed and close the door. But instead, without any hesitation or even a single glance in my direction, he trotted right into my brother's room. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that action hurt a lot more than you'd expect. I take care of that dog and all my brother does is pet him when he's nearby. I just don't understand. I love that dog to death, and love is all I've ever shown him. He'd always show me love, too. I mean, it was always me out of the rest of the family. So I'm wondering if I made him mad somehow. I just don't know how. I don't know what I did.

But, unlike he initially thought, it's not abandoned. A group of rebellious teenagers ask him to join them in their secret war against another group, this one with adults; a very deadly war. Dexter obliges, and steps into dangerous responsibilities for expeditions and patrols. But he soon discovers that the opposing fighters are targeting him more frequently and fiercely than the others. I don't really know what else to tell you, other than that there's death and a lot of action scenes. Any ideas?

We were using a normal soccer ball, and near the end of the game, one of the better players launched the ball as hard as she could. (All girls.) The nets we were using were small, about as wide as my arm span, and that's not very wide because I'm 5 feet tall. Anyway, I had to choose between letting the ball into the net or just allowing it to hit me. And I'd already gotten a few good hits. I couldn't decide fast enough, so I just stood there, this all happening in less than a second. But at the last moment, one of my good friends from my team jumped in front of the ball. It bounced off her and the game continued. That action scared me to death. And I don't know why. My heart leaped and my breath caught in my throat, making me cough. It absolutely terrified me. It felt as if I'd witnessed someone close to me almost die. So, I know this isn't really a big deal, but I need it off my mind. I have no clue whatsoever why it shocked me that way. Anyone have any ideas?

In school, this boy, who sits in front of me, has been doing things that have been making me think that he could possibly be crushing on me. First of all, he'll turn around to crack a few jokes, throw in some easy riddles, laugh. I mean, he does that all the time with everyone, but even though he has friends around him, he turns to me and starts a conversation. He'll tip back his chair, lean it against my desk. One time, I moved spots to work with my friend, and when he arrived he sat down, then looked around before he saw me and smiled. Then, he tipped back his chair again and got to work. The other day, he was bragging about a really good snack he brought to class, and gave it to me. Randomly. Could this mean that he likes me? Again, I'm not completely sure, because I don't think I'm the attractive type. It takes me weeks to warm up to someone, I'm one of the shortest people in my grade, I have boyish features, a boyish personality, this weird gremlin smile, a barking laugh, ugh, I'm just weird, to get to the point. Any advice or thoughts?

If someone is pissing me off on purpose, like my friend is teasing me (just for fun, by the way, though I still get angry), I'll yell at them and cuss them out. Earlier at school, my taller friend took my lock, closed it, then held it above my head. Without even thinking, or trying to, my fist shot out and nailed her in the stomach. It wasn't my hardest punch, but she doubled over, and gave me my lock back. I'm not the only violent one though: we hit and kick each other in the middle of class. I have bruises and scrapes covering my shins to show it. Oddly enough, we laugh to the point of crying, even if one of us is left with a mark. I slammed the bottom of my calculator on her wrist the other day. As she said; "We have a really violent friendship." Anyway, it's not only with her that I'm violent. One time I subconsciously wrapped my fingers around my younger brother's throat. It was just for a second, I swear, but he went bawling to his room. I didn't even mean to do it, it just happened. Sometimes I'll even bite things; I've left marks on pillows and chewed cardboard into mushy pulps. So, am I too violent? Or is it something that's happening to me emotionally that I'm not quite aware of?
