I had my iPhone (3G) sync'd up with my old computer & iTunes. Unfortunately, that computer bit the dust & there is no way to access that old iTunes. When previously sync'd up with said dead computer, 1500 pictures were put on my iPhone (I want them there for backup) from my old computer though iTunes. When I downloaded iTunes on my new computer, it's telling me that everything is going to be erased off my phone. I don't want to lose my music, my apps, my contacts, and (most importantly) my photos. I've spoken with an Apple rep on the phone and was told that there's no way to get it off the phone without using a 3rd party software & that Apple doesn't recommend that. I can access the camera roll (the pictures I've taken with the phone) just fine through camera & scanner wizard. I cannot access the Photo Library. I've tried a few 3rd party software systems to no avail (File Aid/Disk Aid seems to be the answer- but it's not picking up any files on my iPhone, I think I'm missing a step somewhere). I know that I can upload each picture to a site (ie Flickr) one by one, but I have 1500 pictures and I'd realllllly like to NOT have to do that. Also, I would prefer to no lose all of my other data (apps, contacts, settings, music) on this phone. Oh, and I would like to upgrade to the 3.0 OS....but I'm scared I'll lose everything. Help me, please. Please, please, please!

Usually, he'll have 3-4 9oz cups of water or milk throughout the day. Now he's having twice that. There's nothing else going on with him. No fever, no diarrhea, no sickness...just thirsty. I know that children suffering with diabetes drink a lot of water, but I don't think that's the problem here. He's shown no other signs/symptoms. I'm just wondering what it's all about- not looking for a medical diagnoses. Maybe it's just a phase and he'll be back to his normal drinking self in the next few days...

Today, we had a foreclosure notice posted on our door. We're tenants, not owners. I've been hearing stories of tenants who have worked out rent-to-own type deals with the banks tha own the properties after foreclosures. I'm a little skeptical about it because I've never known someone first hand that has worked out this type of deal- it's usually a "friend of a friend". So, my question is - does this type of stuff really happen? It makes sense on both sides of the argument. Banks would rather get some sort of income because they probably won't sell the property (we're in condos and there are 3 units in my building alone that have been on the market for more than 6 months). But I could also understand that a bank wouldn't necessarily want to be a "landlord". Anyone know anything about any situations like this? I'd really like to work out a rent-to-own type of deal because the amount that is still owed on this property is only about 1/6th of how much this property is worth. One problem is that my fiance and I both have bad credit. But we are able to prove that we paid rent for 2 years with the cancelled checks... And the mortgage payment for this place is about 1/3 of the amount of rent we were paying. Any advice?

I don't really know how I'd go about getting clients- but that's further down the road. I need to figure out if it would be worth it to buy the supplies- if the amount I would sell them for would offset the cost of the supplies and be worth the time in the kitchen (although I love baking, so I don't think I'd mind the time in the kitchen). In the baskets/platters I'd put An assortment of cookies Amish Sugar Cookies Chocolate Chip Cookies Gingerbread Cookies Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Drop Cookies ...etc... Peanut Brittle/Almond Brittle Rice Krispy Treats Stuffed Dates Reindeer Noses (small pretzels with a Hershey Kiss and M&M on top) Peanut Chews ...and other holiday treats. So, my question is, would you purchase something like this to give out as a gift or to have for yourself? If yes, how much would you pay for a small assortment, medium assortment, large assortmet. And what would you consider a small, medium, and large assortment. I would package them nicely with a holiday theme (Christmas, Hanukka, Kwanza, whatever your choice). I would also be open to the idea of shipping them as gifts. I'm also consider offering an assortment of pies. Peanut Butter Pie, Apple Crumb Pie, Pumpkin Pie, etc. Any advice/insight you could offer would be great! Thanks for taking the time to read!

In the last month or so, they're starting to get more and more rough with eachother (which I know is to be expected). Occasionally, we run into issues where one hurts the other. Although I know it's not intentional or malicious, the behavior still can't go unpunished. So my question is... if one kid hurts the other- what do you do first? Comfort the injured one or punish the brute? Since my boys are both still young, I know that punishment needs to happen right after the incident in order for them to understand why they're being punished. But at the same time, I don't want to leave a kid who was just pushed off the laundry basket into the wall on the floor crying. If I comfort the hurt one, the injurer gets a few minutes to wander off and forget what's going on....know what I mean? So what do you mommies do? If daddy's home, this situation is easily resolved. Daddy lays down the iron fist and mommy provides the snuggles. But when it's just me or him home, it presents a predicament.
