  • Conservatives: Why do black people not tip? ?

Why do they not tip? I am a delivery driver and I work in a primarily Republican county with majority of white people and they all tip me and are very generous and friendly. But from time to time a black person will order and will not tip me at all. I even have tried delivering to test the waters in black neighborhoods and none of them tipped me. And even if someone did it was only a dollar or keep the change.

    Why don't they tip?

  • Am I too old to move out of state?

I feel like I am too old to move out of state. I am 27 yrs old and I would love to move to Florida from Missouri. I am in the process of saving tons of money for it to happen one day. Do you think I will be too old? I wish I could do it now and while I am in my 20s. But I might have to wait until I am in my early 30s. Will I be too old? Do you think I am missing out not moving right now? I feel really anxious and excited about it. It cannot come quick enough.

  • How does HR deal with timesheets?

    Hi Everyone!

I had a question regarding the role of HR in time sheet approval. At every job I have had I always clocked in and out and at the end of the week my manager reviewed it and approved it based off the hours I worked.

My question is.. When the timesheet is sent from my manager to HR does HR still compare the hours to what was worked on the schedule or do they pretty much trust my manager that she has looked it all over and made sure I attended work each day for the hours scheduled?

  • Why do cities not have subdivisions?

I love the city because of its long blocks and streets. I love how the mailbox is on the front porch and how cars park in the street. I love how each house is unique and different on the outside.

Why are suburbs different? Why do they build them different? They have subdivisions. All the houses look the same. There are no detached car garages or alleys. The mailbox is on the street.

Why do they build the houses and streets differently in the suburbs, but cities have long blocks and streets? Who changed all of that and why?

  • Atheist: Do you find it funny that Americans have paganism in their yards?

I am laughing right now. Santa Claus. Reindeers. Christmas lights. Door Signs. All of it is pagan. These people are no different than the pagans back in ancient times. Lol It is funny how the world thinks this is all original, but people back then were doing these "weird" things. Lol The things humans do. It is silly how we go through the motions without thinking about it.

  • Atheist: I have two questions for you?

Nobody ever gives me the correct answer and are always in denial/lie so I am reaching out to you.

Question 1: Do you think somewhere across America the Catholic seminary students have ever fooled around with each other? They seem a bit to close to each other and playful.

Question 2: Do you think being celibate is even possible for your entire life? Or do priest still have sex and masturbate?

My mom said that when she went to Catholic high school she hated it. The girls were always lovey dovey on each other and acted all goodie goodie. She transferred to public school right away. Lol

  • Atheist: Why do Christians get involved in euthanasia?

I was thinking about this topic tonight. Who are Christians to think they know what is best for someone in pain everyday? It is my body and my choice if I don't want to live anymore someday because I am in pain. I am not in pain or suffering from anything now. But it is my choice if I want to go through with it under medical care if I get very sick someday. Christian religious beliefs should NOT be the law for everyone that doesn't follow their religion. They need to keep their dogmas off our bodies. Do you agree?

  • Atheist: Why are people that live in cities?

Not as religious? I know that there are extremist no matter where you go. But for the most part I don't ever see it in the city. Most city people I know believe there are many paths to God or don't believe in God at all. They are usually more likely to support gay marriage. The people in cities seem more diverse and tolerant of other beliefs.

Why is it the opposite in rural areas of America? The billboards change on major highways from actual advertising to "REPENT". "TRUST JESUS". "FACING AN UNPLANNED PREGNANCY". There are more crosses in the yards and along the highways. My friend who believes in God attended a meeting to take down "In God we Trust" in her small town and there were only like 3 atheist there to support her. The majority were Christians and they were booing her and kicking their chairs from behind. It is so stupid and seems so primitive to me.

How do big cities keep those kind of mentalities away? The billboards... The shaming... The exclusiveness... I know people are people no matter where you go. But it seems like the cities do a good job of not submitting to primitive ways of being. Lol

  • Atheist: Has abortion always gone on or is it something new?

Has abortion been going on long before Christians have been protesting outside of women's clinics?

How do Christians respond to private abortions done in one's own house? They make a visual scene outside of clinics, but aren't they aggravated still knowing that women will always have abortions whether their is a clinic or not available to them?

In other words, will Christians always be pissed off and aggravated knowing abortions will always occur even if the clinics were to all close? It must suck for them to constantly be agitated about it. It must make for a dull and boring life to beat yourself up over abortion. Lol

  • Atheist: Do you think Christians that protest outside of women s clinics?

Do you think some of the Christians protesting have never been pregnant and one day they do face an unplanned pregnancy and then have an abortion?

Do you think some of the women protesting take birth control even though the church says not to?

Do you think some of the men protesting masturbate?

Do you think they are hypocrites?

  • Atheist: Why are modern homes built differently?

Why when I drive into my city all the houses have awnings and stained glass windows? Why do they have archways inside them? Why are they brick? Why is the mailbox on the front porch where it should be?

I am 27 years old and I cannot stand modern houses in the suburbs. They all look the same. They all have the same colored siding. They have no awnings. The mailboxes are all along the street. The garage is attached to the house. I don't like it. The developers today suck and build them so cheap. They sell the cheap homes at high prices too.

Why did the people back then build them with bricks and make each one unique? Every house in the city is different from the next. The garages are detached. They have ally's. Why are developers now so modern and cheap? It makes me sick. The developers back then actually took pride in their work and made each brick home different. Now they just get in and build and get out.

What is going on? I guess I just have an old fashioned taste. The developers today are modern and make houses ugly.

  • Do bank tellers have to payback their losses?

Do bank tellers have to payback their losses? What happens if a bank teller deposits a $60,000 check into the wrong account and all the money gets spent by another client? Does the teller owe the $60,000 to the bank for the mistake or do they just get fired?

What if a teller gives someone else another person's money or cashes a check for the wrong person? Does the bank teller owe the loss back to the bank or do they just get fired? Can the bank press charges against the teller for carelessness?
