I emailed their visitor's center & they told me they'd be open 9-5, but their website specifies that they are closed for visitors on Mondays.3 AnswersOther - Germany9 years ago
cat is about 10 years old, healthy coat, and is treated with frontline. Also, just today I found the second of those bugs - and I am concerned.2 AnswersCats1 decade ago
I shot an event last night & another photographer (older with perhaps much more expensive equipment) was shooting in low light but it sounded as if his camera was shooting "Click click click click" to get one image. Was he doing multiple shots on one frame? I saw on his LCD briefly that it seemed well-exposed. I on the other hand used a flash and bounce, etc... at ISO 1200-1600. What was he doing!?3 AnswersPhotography1 decade ago
I do my best to not reward him with replying... but sometimes I just get angry. Once I tried to console him, get him on the bed to relax, and that worked for a moment. I checked a few days ago to see if he was empty on food or water, and the water was gone. But that has not been the case on other days. Today I checked and his food/water was fine - so I ignored him and went back to bed. I came back down at 6:30 to go to work and he had knocked his water over. What is the story here!?27 AnswersCats1 decade ago

Is there anything quirky/fun/interesting/historical worthwhile to see on the 10 fwy heading east to Phoenix?
I am leaving Friday for a drive to Phoenix. Trying to get there by Friday night, but I figured if there is somewhere neat to see anywhere along the way or near Pheonix (eg. weird USA stuff, ruins, archaeological interests, historical spots, etc) I would try to visit!4 AnswersPhoenix1 decade ago
Someone told me they thought my rule was asinine this morning at work, and I replied "No it is not asinine" and proceeded to explain that he was out of line... However I was shaky and definitely flush when done speaking. Is it just my adrenaline? How can I manage this better? I know it is better to reply than ignore it and just absorb my anger, right?4 AnswersPsychology1 decade ago
I am driving to LA from Boston, and I want to bring my cat. I was going to come home during the summer and fly back with him, but now realize that leaving him with my father is not a good idea. I figured I'd get a crate big enough for him, and a litter box and set it up on the back seat, strapped in. He would stay in hotels with me too. Does anyone have suggestions or help here? I am really nervous. He gets sick in cars, last time he went to the bathroom repeatedly. I figure I will talk to the vet about perhaps an Rx to cover the trip time.7 AnswersCats1 decade ago
last night I rescued an orchid from my restaurant which was on its way out. It was used for a wedding, so I believe it's a high quality since the family owned a greenhouse/shop. The plant is upright, attached to a stake with a few clips. It is white with yellow center, has about four or five blooms on it. The leaves are not slimy, and the basket it is in seems to need water. I have watered it sparingly nervous to drown it. It is in my kitchen with full sun during the day. I don't know what to do... re-pot it? feed it something special? put it in the bathroom for moisture, or keep it out of the sun?
I want to keep this plant, so I figured I'd ask help!3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade ago

I've just noticed now that I am on accutane, I can't even drink two beers... I get a hangover the next day. It's not the worst situation in the world, but I am trying to figure out if it's in my head or if the accutane may be causing the hangover by not mixing well with alcohol.7 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade ago
