  • Experience with pet sprains?

My cat has been limping for about a week now. I took her to the vet and they didnt do an xray because nothing was swollen, I got some pain pills for 3 days. She told me to check back in a few weeks if it doesnt improve, she thinks it's a minor sprain. My cat will still play and walk around, I need to get her rest but shes naturally energetic. Shes clearly limping and stopped after she had the pain pills. I'm worried it will get worse if she keeps goofing off instead of sleeping. If shes still playful and not lame does that mean it should get better? Has anyone dealt with a pet strain before, or something similar? Am I just worrying too much?

My cat can get very mad, can anyone relate or do they have any advice?

I have 2 cats from the shelter. One of them I got last year, I had to sign a waiver for. She's A very overstimulated cat and can get irritated fast. I got another cat, The new cat does well with dogs and cats and while the other cat does Not we figured this would be OK. I've dealt with this type of stuff before, There was a time when my mom and I had 9 cats at once, So I figured this would be challenging but not as challenging as it has been. I try to not lose frustration with the 1st cat and I don't intend to give up any because I'm committed and don't give up on either of them. She makes this horrible noise whenever she gets mad at the other cat or if I pick her up in front of him. She feels bad after and will be loving, and I think it might have to do with the fact that she's part feral but I can't help but worry whenever she gets this angry with me and then nice right after. Like what the hell is that all about? I just recently bought a pheromone dispenser from chewy, It's supposed to calm the environment for cats that don't get along. I think it works some days better than ever, but there's nights like this more often than not. Seriously, does anyone else have problems with a screaming angry cat? I may just get a noise complaint from her. I do separate them often but it's hard when they know how to jump over tall gates, scratch at doors. Sometimes she doesn't seem to mind to the other cat so it's hard to predict how she'll act. Advice? Recommendations? Thanks!
