Donald Trump failed to do any of the things he promised his idiot supporters he would do as president. Why should he get a second chance?
Favourite answer:Trump failed to get Mexico to pay for his wall, he failed to get NATO countries to pay more money into it, they will be paying 2% of their GDP in 2024, and the new NAFTA deal (CUSMA) is just a tweaking of the old NAFTA deal. He also let allies down by pulling out of the Iran deal. No wonder he isn't trusted or seen as the leader of the free world.

How do you get over regrets of over/underinvesting in stocks?
I was never a gambler type of person as I don't like to take risk and such because I'll be filled with regret if I lose and even if I win, I'll feel regret for not putting more in. So in the end, I just don't touch stocks at all. But after years of family and friends telling me to look into stocks because they think I'll be good at it, I finally did with me just sitting at home because of the pandemic. Long story short, I put 1k in and it steadily went up to 1600 in a few months, today I cashed in big because I sold all my stocks to buy tesla stock due to it's split and manage to hit over 2000 in just a day. Normally it should feel good but now I'm just sitting here only regretting that I should've dumped several thousands more into the stock.
Honestly, I hate the feeling as I will just spend several lingering over it and makes my future decisions much more tougher. Just makes me not want to do stocks, then I'll still feel regret for not taking advantage of it. Anyone has similar experience and managed to cope with it?

How crazy is that?
Herman Cain is dead (killed by Trump basically) and yet he keeps tweeting that the coronavirus isn't that bad after all.

Does it matter that the 'law and order' candidate was impeached for extortion & most of his closest associates were jailed?
Favourite answer:Yes, it very much does matter. Trump cares little about law and order, in reality. Look at all the laws he has broken. How about way back before he even became president? Trump U? Hiring illegal aliens to demolish a building? Cheating on his taxes?

Another man shot dead in riots last night in portland, when will it stop?
Favourite answer:When the violent protesters quit burning, looting and attacking business owners. I don't understand why BLM don't see that the have now destroyed their cause. People who supported them in the beginning have now abandoned them because of the unnecessary violence

Without calculus, can you find slope of a tangent line to an ellipse only knowing the equation of the ellipse and the point? ?
Favourite answer:The discriminant method I gave you earlier is perfectly sound, but I have replaced it with this geometric solution. See if you don't like this solution any better.
Let A(1, √(3)/2) be the given point of tangency.
Point B(1, 0) is the projection of A onto the major axis.
Point V(2, 0) is the major vertex on that side.
Point C is the point where the line of tangency meets the major axis.
Point O(0, 0) is the center of the ellipse.
Major radius OV is the geometric mean of OA and AC.
(OA)(OC) = OV²
(1)(OC) = 2²
OC = 4
C(4, 0)
You now have two points on the tangent line, A and C.

Why do some people demand Trump disavow "racists", when Obama never disavowed the black panthers or the BLM/Antifa rioters?
Ferguson, MO was completely devastated by these animals. Why didn't Obama ever denounce any of these violent groups?

How can speaking calmly be considered aggressive?
My mom really puts on a scene when she is angry- yelling and throwing things until everyone around is watching her (even in public). She says it’s the best way of handling anger because it lets everyone know how upset she is so that they will change. I prefer to speak calmly, find the source of conflict, hear both sides, then try to find a compromise. My mom and sister say that is more aggressive because it makes the person yelling appear crazy (and thus a form of gaslighting). They also tell me I am letting other people walk all over me by trying to hear both sides and compromise. I feel they have anger problems but they tell me I do since I refuse to yell back, thus making them seem crazy.

Have you lost any of your parents?
I have a father who's in a hospice care battling dementia at the age of 71 and he's not doing well right now. I visited him yesterday and he was just laying there in his bed couldn't up and couldn't open his eyes completely. I stand there and was filling sad to see his deterioration the disease had took on his body. I mean it was really bad that he couldn't talk either and he lost alot of weight. This is my first time going through something like this because I never lost a parent before.
