• What does it mean if the car moves and accelerates from 1st gear, but only makes a revving noise in other gears?

It will move and accelerate from the 1st gear, but only rev high on the other gears. It is an automatic transmission that once had its transmission overheat and some of its fluid deep through the gaskets when it overheated.

  • Is it true chemtrails are caused by commercial airplanes and not government planes?

Best answer: Yes... You are a prime example that chemtrails DO exist. The ones over your city contain chemicals that make people STUPID. You obviously got a snoot full.

  • Should I be worried about buying a car far under market value?

Saw a 2007 Toyota Corolla from a private dealer with 130k miles for 2000 dollars. I would figure that even if, say, a head gasket was blown, spending 1000 to get it replaced would still put this car under fair market value. I went into a pothole on the road and the only thing I damaged was the bumper and the grill and all the plastic from the bottom of the car. I did the claim for my insurance and they declared it total loss. Seems weird because if you look at my car you might think nothing happened to it. My car is still drive able . After the accident I did notice the check engine light turned on. But it still drives like new . Now people are telling me to keep my salvage car if it still drives that it’s still new. & yes I have GAP .But here is where im wondering...... if i keep the car I will get less money & it will all go to the loan holder,......... but will GAP pay the rest even if I keep the car ??? Should I just let them keep the car and have GAp Pay the rest and move on ?? This has me thinking because the car IS drivable and I know it’s not a total loss it’s brand new. I don’t have a car right now & I really need one Im debating wether I should keep it and drive it or just let it go and go get me another car?? If I keep the car I won’t owe any money for it & still use it for work school etc But if I let it go I will have to go get another car and owe money on the new one ... if that makes sense???

  • What is my car's problem?

Right now when I am driving my car on the highway 60 miles per hour, I feel like the car is moving sideways while driving straight and the faster I go, the higher chance that the tires might pop out or something

  • Is $30 per day for rental car a fair deal?

My vehicle was hit by a careless driver and will be out of commission for a week for repairs so I'll need a rental car. Other driver's insurance company says they will cover rental car but only $30 per day including tax. This seems low. So is $30 per day fair or too low?

  • Why does Toyota lie about its MPG?

Best answer: All companies do that. It makes them look better. It's like someone lying about their height, income, the size of their dick, etc.

  • Is there a way I can get help paying off my car loan? I just lost my job due to the company not having enough money to keep employees?

Best answer: NO ONE plans on losing a job, especially through no fault of their own if they are laid off. But the rule is that you should have a (minimum) 3 months and usually 6 months of income in savings that you can use, till back on your feet.

After working over 40 years (retired), I was let go from 5 companies that went bankrupt, got sold, or laid me off. But, I (always) had at least 6 months of income saved up, since even with unemployment which pays on average of (50%) of your prior income, you still need the extra (50%) income to keep paying your bills. The easy way to save is to have in (each) paycheck for instance $50 or $100 that the employer automatically (deposits) it to be put into a savings account that you (don’t) touch.

Now (if) the prior job was FT, then you could apply for (partial) unemployment to fill in (some) of the gap of income. With partial, still won’t be the same as FT wages, but it might help (some).

And when you apply for (partial) unemployment, you will be required to find another FT job and if not, then they can discontinue paying partial unemployment. So if you can’t find another FT job, then your only other option is to find a (2nd) PT job, which between the 2 maybe enough.

You need to contact the lender and explain the circumstances, thus they may give you a break and allow you to pay ½ the payment, thus won’t lose the car. They key is, that you must continue paying (something) or they will re-po the car for non-payment.

I took the road test today and didn’t pass. I noticed myself that my turns were not smooth and the proctor said that my turns were wide. I watched a few YouTube videos afterwards to see how to make a smooth turn and most videos allowed the steering wheel to return to its straight position on its own after making a turn by letting it slide through the hands. So I got two questions : will this cost me points on my next road test and when is the right time do let the steering wheel slide? Like should I let it slide as soon as the front of my car is pointed in the right direction or should it be earlier? Thanks for any help.
