At the beginning of the movie, it shows him telling a bad and confusing joke to the other parents. At the end, he's delivering the punchline like a pro and the other parents think it's hilarious. However, improving his skills in comedy doesn't really relate to any of the character development or things he went through in the movie. Not to mention that he's playing into the stereotype that all clownfish are funny. Am I missing something or is this just a cheap, unearned attempt by the filmmakers to show a character has grown and changed?

Best answer: Yes, if astounding special effects is your criteria.

Other than that, it is a typical left wing propaganda film telling everyone that capitalism is evil, and corporations think nothing about destroying life to improve their bottom line.

Anyway, I did like "Midnight in Paris", "Annie Hall", and his latest release from last year, "Wonder Wheel". A lot of his movies are formulaic though...and they always seem to focus on weird romances or strange 'inside-joke' type plots that I don't really understand.
Oh well, no movie is made to please everyone.
