Okay so I have a 2003 Infiniti G35 I was driving tonight and with ice being on the road i was trying to drive really slow. While I was driving my car was making a horribly loud noise and Im not sure what is was. ( I was on the way to get it checked) When I drove up a hill I stopped at a stop sign and when i tried to accelerate my gas pedal was on the floor and still would not move. My car quickly started rolling backwards down the hill and i wrecked my car into a stop sign. I turned my engine off now my car will not turn over, I tried jump offs & it sounds like the engine is trying to turn over but will not crank. My car is stuck in a bad neighboorhood and I really need help. Any advice would be great.

  • Why are people so against leather seats in a car?

I seriously don't understand why people hate leather so much. I often hear these things. -"It smells like old shoes." -"It holds smells." -"Too hot in the summer on too cold in the winter." -"They're difficult to maintain." -"They don't last." -"They stain easily." The majority of these facts are wrong. A couple are opinions. I've heard these things and none of them make any sense at all. I have 2 cars with cloth seats and never again. If I so much as look at them the wrong way, they become stained. Leather is a lot easier to care for if it's kept up on (clearing them off and conditioning). Why do people hate leather so much?

  • Will my car survive a short road trip?

Best answer: I am 71 years of age. Asking a 190K mile old car to go 60 miles more is like asking me to live 8 days more longer.
Ask me next week, if I respond, your car will probably last 60 miles also.

Steady 55 mph highway is being gentle on a car. Stop and go is the killer.

I was due for another oil change & finally went to get it done but right after my service engine Soon light came on but my car was fine . Start up & everything it was no problems. I couldn’t service my car yesterday because i had to work .. but it started right up as soon as i got off & then i pulled up at my friends & cut it off for 5 mins. When i tried to start it back up it would crank but won’t start, it’s like it wants to start but it won’t . I had gas in there right above the E & all the lights on my dash still came on. I got it towed back to my car & checked to see if it would start then .. again same actions but this time my gas light came on in attempt . Can you help me ?

  • Okay to use bearing grease inside engine?

in order to keep the spline shaft from falling out of the oil pump during installation, i used synthetic bearing grease, which was thick and sticky. I used about a teaspoon of grease in total. my friend says it will break off into clumps and clog up oil passages. legit concern?
