  • If you're a tenant with a landlord who owns the house you're renting, but lives elsewhere, can you report problematic roommates to police?

I have three roommates, two of which who are sisters, who are also renting rooms in the house. One has a very out-of-control dog who runs around and barks loudly all day. The other one has a 7-year-old son who seems to be brainwashed against me and that once went into my room and pooped on my bed. They also... show more

The other one has a 7-year-old son who seems to be brainwashed against me and that once went into my room and pooped on my bed. They also sometimes tamper with my food. They also frequently have men over who smoke in the house. Last night, while I was in the kitchen preparing my lunch for today because I had to work, one of them came out of her bedroom with her boyfriend and started making out with him in the kitchen right in front of me. Can I report any of this to police?

  • My dog bit someone and I’m freaking out please help!!!!?

Best answer: You are 100% responsible. If the woman files a claim it will be with your homeowners/renters insurance carrier. If the dog is not listed on your policy the insurance company will disallow the claim, and you will be responsible for any judgment issued against you. I have two big dogs. If the dog is not listed on your policy the insurance company will disallow the claim, and you will be responsible for any judgment issued against you. I have two big dogs. I have a specific rider on my homeowners (and I've never had a problem of any sort) covering any medical bills my dogs might cause.

Accident or no accident does not matter. Ask an Attorney. In some States a dog is "allowed" one bite before a Judge will address whether it's a dangerous animal. You are still responsible for the medical bills for the first bite, but a Judge will not hear a Motion to euthanize the dog.

I would speak to my Homeowners agent as well as an Attorney.

I tell ya these days one would think law enforcement would have been terminated years ago. But noooooo people are way too stupid to even consider that we’d be way better off without them as then we’d all be allowed to handle our own problems our own way without having to be legally required to have someone dang dummy that calls him or herself a professional do it. Besides a few dumb things exist such as U can’t even get away with so much as spitting or so much as squinting ketchup on someone these days.

  • Someone mentioned "My boss has told men in our office to do our best to never be alone with a female employee. It’s just too risky."?

Haven't women had to deal with this for much longer and while being in a lesser position than men? Why do men only acknowledge these situations when they're finally on the other side? Are they oblivious by nature.

  • Are FBI Special Agents considered cops?

Are they considered cops or do they not do the same stuff that cops do, like is it less dangerous? Also what degree is required to become one? I heard Bachelor's in Criminal Justice is a good degree to become an FBI Agent but I'm not sure. Just trying to decide my career path! Thank you for your help.

....I am a retired police officer. I retired as a sergeant, after 29 years, from a very large department, about 12,000 officers. I was a patrol officer for 4 years in a very diverse area. I was a tactical officer in the high rise project areas of my city. We called it vertical patrol in that we walked the the stairways of the high rises most of the time. I did that for 5 years and was promoted by test to detective. I worked violent crime (homicide, sex, officer involved shootings, robbery, kidnapping, serious non property incidents) for 11 years until I was promoted to sergeant. I worked as a street supervisor, a bicycle patrol supervisor and a desk sergeant/watch commander.
During my time as a tactical officer and a detective I was a unit representative for the police union.
I have a B.A in English and an M.S. in Law Enforcement Administration....
