  • Do most supervisors drive big Black suv’s?

Here where I work every supervisor drives big black suv’s . Is that something they just do because they all want to keep it the apperence of bosses clean and expensive looking ? Can supervisors drive other colors or a crappy car? So I need a black suv to be a boss? Are they just trying to look important?

  • Why are mopeds/scooters so popular in Asian countries like Thailand and Vietnam?

Best answer: People in Asian countries make much less money than in Europe or the USA. Some make as little as $2 per day or even less. So buying a $20,000 or more vehicle becomes rather impossible. And maintaining and fuelling a scooter or moped is much cheaper than doing so to a car.

Best answer: Most dash cams with this feature will automatically engage parking mode when they detect that the ignition has been turned off or that the vehicle has been stationary for a predetermined period of time. To save on memory and power consumption the camera will usually engage a motion detection function and only record video when it detects movement, such as a car or a pedestrian passing within it’s field of view. Also, if the camera detects that the car has moved, either from a collision, or by someone tampering with it, it will again record a video to capture as much evidence as possible.

You could, of course, read the manual. . . .

  • Why do drivers ignore lane markings during traffic jams and create additional lanes ?

Best answer: Because many drivers feel that laws should apply to them only when they see a direct benefit for themselves. It's the same reason why some speed, why some don't use their blinkers, why some don't come to a complete stop at stop signs, why some drive around with their parking lights on, etc. They just... show more
Best answer: Because many drivers feel that laws should apply to them only when they see a direct benefit for themselves. It's the same reason why some speed, why some don't use their blinkers, why some don't come to a complete stop at stop signs, why some drive around with their parking lights on, etc. They just don't see any personal benefit of following the law or even asking what the law is.

So when they find themselves in a situation that puts them at a disadvantage, like a traffic jam, they quickly look for whatever course of action will bring them the most benefit even if it's illegal, like driving down the shoulder of the road.

  • Do you put your seatbelt in the backseat ?

Best answer: People who do not wear seat belts are more likely to die in a car crash. I use the seat belt whether I am in the front or the back seat of a car!

I have to research the place beforehand and do some serious/thorough direction research until I feel like I know it up, down and backwards, and even then I'm a nervous wreck on the way trying to find my way. Is there any way I can get better at understanding and knowing directions in my own city, so I don't have to be such a wuss before getting into my car and heading somewhere?

I was involved in an accident but the person that caused it fled. I was in the second lane to the left. To the left of me was an HOV lane. These two lanes were divided by a space and two continuous lines. Up ahead the two lanes were divided by middle plastic reflective dividers as well. The car to my left was driving next to me for about a minute in the HOV lane. As we were approaching the reflective plastic dividers the car swerved in front of me to get out of the HOV lane. He went over two lanes to the right and back to the left one lane. I avoided him by going to the right a little but the car behind me couldn't do the same and hit me, The car that swerved in front of me was not hit and they floored it and fled. The car that hit me from behind rolled over. I did not lose control. Luckily the driver that rolled over was ok and i was ok but now the situation is sticky. Even though the car that cut me off was not hit they passed illegally and dangerously over two continuous white lanes signifying "NO PASSING". They floored it right away and fled and the police are looking for the car. Who would be at fault here if they find or not find the car that cut me off. Me, the car that cut me off illegal or the car that hit me?

  • What do you think of drivers who stop on the pedestrian crossing when the light turns red ?

Best answer: It's stupid, and pedestrians hate it too. I wonder what they think they are accomplishing by doing that.

I have a need to go to the laundry mat to wash. And go to a store located out of town about 40-50 miles away to buy & possibly transport many items, some too large to carry by hand, esp. all that distance, regardless of whether or not I get to & from there via public transit.(There's still the carrying of the large items from the store back to the bus/rail depot, not to mention, transfers, and from the very last stop to my home.) What would you do??? Let me also point out here that I'm on a Budget.(My income is very fixed.) Thank you!!!
