    Moreover, building muscle without being at caloric deficit (a "bulking") would make you *heavier*, not lighter, because for a given number of calories muscle is much heavier than fat (about a factor 10).
    The way to lose *weight* without being at a caloric deficit would actually be to become *fatter*, i.e. to lose muscle and stock fat instead, which is probably not what you desire.

    So, as a conclusion, losing both weight and fat without being at caloric deficit is just flat out impossible.

I don't eat carbs, i eat 5 small meals throughout the day so i dont snack, i drink heaps of water, go to the gym 5 days a week and go for 2-5km runs every other day. Is there something wrong with me?

Also, playing softball, your body adapts to the work ou give it. How much of your softball time are you moving around at your max heart rate(sweating, able to hold a convo, but winded) vs standing and how often you play softball. Switch things up....your body has adapted. I guarantee you if you alternate running and walking(basically run til u get winded then walk then run til u get winded than walk at fast pace, doing 5 miles each session for 5 days a week, EVERY week for 5 months, you will be thanking me in 3 months. Consistency is key. Then hit me up in 3 months and we'll do your new workout plan to keep your body guessing. I promise
