I tried to paint in a dry and non-windy environment but still there isn't much difference. I don't have knowledge about this but I believe I do something wrong in the process, any tips and advices are welcome.

Best answer: It is time to get some inspiration by going shopping and buy something you absolutely love. For instance, artwork, decorative pillows, curtains, lamps perhaps, an area rug, a throw blanket or an upholstered piece of furniture. From there, you can pick up your color scheme for the paint.

It is far easier to match paint to something you have than to paint a room a random color and then go nuts trying to find things to match your paint.

Ask yourself, do you like fall colors? If you do, you may want to find things that are the colors in fall leaves: greens, golds, rusty orange to red colors. If you love the water and the beach, you may lean toward blues or even turquoise, yellows and maybe coral colors. All of those colors would be for the accessories in the room.

So, what paint color would be good? Benjamin Moore has a color: Cream Yellow that is a great neutral color that, depending on the time of day or light in the room. This color is so versatile because it matches everything. It does. Check it out

I'm struggling with a bath remodel in my newly purchased fixer upper. I'm having the pink floral wallpaper removed from 20 ft high walls. The room is very large. The bathroom contractor is going to paint the walls builder-beige after removing the wallpaper. I don't have a clue what to do with those 20-ft walls to make the room cozier. I'm tempted to try a different wallpaper since I'll be living in this home for 10-15 years and am not too worried about resale right now. On the other hand, I don't want to give some other buyer the same rehab problems that I'm facing right now. Any suggestions (beside moving LOL)?
