I worked at a job for 6yrs. Though I disliked a fee people I actually learned a lot and enjoyed helping who I could. There were a lot of wrongs about the job dued to the people I had to work with only thinking about themselves and then having a director that didnt appreciate me when I was doing a 2-3 people job and he only wanted to give me a 25cent raise. This job caused me a lot of stress and depression. I soon took FMLA due to the stress & depression a week later I was being fired on some BS. I assumed my then manager was behind it because she didnt like me. And didnt like that I went on FMLA when she was trying to bring in new people for me to train. I filed a lawsuit but loss because I couldnt prove discrimination and had to sign off on sonething. Three years later I am in contact with a fee friends from my old job. My friend tells me they fired my manager for a reason she didnt know. They demoted my director. A lot of people left, moved to other depts and or got fired so karma came back around for them for what was done to me. I was employed at another company but was laid off a few minths back. My friend told me I should apply to work back at our old job now that those gross folks I worked directly with are gone. Could I apply at my old company or would I be wasting my time? I ve never bashed the company, it was just the nasty people that worked there at the time.

I've just started a new job and I was only there for a week when I suddenly became very ill, I can barely stand and I get constant black outs and my temperature is crazy. I work with computers so sitting looking at a screen all day with the black outs I've been having is a big no. I spoke to them and told them my doctor said I cannot work. I was given a sick line and I handed it into them, I did not want to take time off work but I had no other choice. I'm still bed ridden at the moment, I'm on medication and it is slowly helping. I kept my employer updated on what was happening and I was constantly apologising and telling them how much this job meant to me and the timing of this illness is just so bad. I had no indication/warning that I was going to be fired (I was off work for 3-4 days) and the other day I just woke up to an email saying that they need to terminate my employment immediately. Are they allowed to do that if I was told by my doctor not to work? I had no idea

  • TRUMP – Would you give him a loan?

Best answer: If a person doesn't want to pay you back, an notarized promissary note won't change that.

The general rule is you don't loan money to anyone unless you don't care if you are ever paid back.

The key word is LEGALLY and not just by their house rules. Okay so here’s the scenario: You’ve been living at home, paying half the rent, and other bills while you are living at home. However, whenever you and your parent(s) get into a disagreement that he/she/they threaten to kick you out of their home for whatever reason alone. The question is, in the state of Maryland, can you LEGALLY be kicked out of the home? Despite the fact that you’re paying your fair share of bills? Say if your name is also listed on as a leasee (not just as an occupant), could they still kick you out or would they have to go through the proper channels to have you evicted? Also, is this any different from section 8? Please separate the difference between “house rules” and “the law”. I don’t want any answers that are “Well their house, their rules,” because that is not always the case. I have plenty of stories where the person thought because their house, their rules were enough to kick someone out when the law told them otherwise...

So I ve been moved in for about three weeks now with my roommates. I am 17 but I ve been given permission I can move out and I ve been moved out since 16. I m currently trying to struggle with my homeschooling, and trying to find a job. With interview after interview and spending hours working on school. But that s life. I m contributing 150 dollars each month until I can find a job to help with the bills and they seem to be okay with it. But they are treating me like a child, even though I m 17 and I suppose I m still considered a child I do act like an adult I don t have a parent telling me what to do, I m doing it myself. I went out with a friend and didn t come back until three and I got blown up with text messages about where I am. Then they were trying to give me a curfew of 12. They won t let me bring anyone home with me (sexual or not sexual) I kinda feel like a prisoner in my own home, when my roommate is only two years older than me. My other roommate is out getting drunk and she can come back anytime and bring back whoever. Just because she s older. Now, again, I know I m only 17 but they are my roommates not my parents and I m contributing to this household as much as I possibly can right now with me trying to get a education at the same time. Everytime I talk to them about it they say "okay but you re a teenager". How do I access this situation in a mature responsible way? Thank you in advance for any further advice.

I am 18 and she is 15 turning 16 in a few months. We have been dating since April of last year. We already made it clear that there would be no sexual conduct going on, considering she’s a “minor” and I’m an “adult”. This was going to remain a simmered down relationship until she gets to legal age or until I ask for her parents for consult for sex. But, apparently, her parents (adopted) found out she was dating me and decided to press charges. I don’t understand their reasoning for pressing charges on me because I positively assure you that I haven’t had any sexual misconduct with this girl. Sure there has been some flirty text messages. But no nudes or exotic pictures were ever to be presented and the intentions of myself and her both know the rules in our state (Alabama). How can I defend against this? And if not how can I reduce these charges from slim to none? Are there any good attorneys or lawyers that are made for this exact case? Thank you.
