Best answer: Airline flight crews, military, photo or print journalist, nature photographer. The people that do the most travel in the company I worked for are supplier management people - particularly auditors. With globalization, a lot of supplied parts, materials and subassemblies come from far flung places around the world. Some of the people I used to work with traveled to Germany, China, France, Mexico, the US, Korea, the Czech Republic and other places around the world frequently.

You need to be aware that traveling for a job is not the same as travel on a vacation; it can be a great opportunity and rewarding. It can also be a lot of wear and tear - you really have to have the right personality to be on the road a lot and you don't necessarily get a chance to spend any time sightseeing.

Other possibilities might include oceanography, anthropology or archaeology but they don't necessarily get you in the field.

  • Why do people still travel when we have Google Maps to look at?

You can look at places, like countries, far far away on Google Maps. Just drag the yellow icon to the place and it will show the roads and everything. What's the point of traveling nowadays? Why not just look at places like virtually instead of wasting money to go there?

  • I'm from Canada and I was wondering do I have to fill out a bunch of customs during US trip to different locations?

Best answer: You will clear US immigration and customs before you leave on your flight from Edmonton, so it is considered a domestic flight when it arrives at the first US city. As long as you are not bringing stuff with you that you intend to leave in the US, then there is no hassle beyond the usual - where are you going, for what purpose, how long are you staying and miscellaneous other questions.

Once you are in the US, no one cares what you take from one city to another. There is no customs issue for interstate travel.

When you depart, you will go back through Canadian Customs and Immigration when you arrive at the first Canadian stop. If you have purchased items whose value exceeds whatever your allowance is, then you will pay duty on the value that <<exceeds>> the allowance.

Not really all that difficult to get through.

    Have fun.

San Francisco is a great city to visit - lots to see and do.. There are hundreds of enjoyable things to see and do in LA as well (assuming they do not all burn down from the fires before you get there - joke!). Never been to Orlando, but I assume they have nice beaches for some sun and warmth. Coming from Edmonton - I';m sure you will enjoy that.

I have an interest in geography, I know every country in the world, I love researching them, and I hate the bad sides of countries. When I get a little older, I want to visit every country in the world in one vacation, there's 196 countries in the world, and I'd like to visit every single one. What I'll do is stay in one country for one weak, then do the same with every other country. I'd like to meet with their Presidents or Prime Ministers, and stop the bad things going on in them, I'd like to stop terrorism, and get every country to get along with each other, especially United States. I'll take out ISIS, I'll stop the Yulin dog meat festival in China for good, I'll stop any terrorism, I'll stop any anti-Americanism, and I'll take out Kim Jong Un. I've told my parents that I'd like to do this, and they thought I was nuts, first of all, I'd need to be very rich to do this. I said that I won't let myself die, and will show as much endurance as possible. How do guns kill people instantly? Can't you survive being stabbed without cutting organs? I guess it's the anime I watch, in anime, characters can survive being stabbed and even impaled, obviously they weren't stabbed in any organ I would assume.

  • If you could write a story about a real place (geographically), which place would it be and why?

Best answer: A place I know well.

It's obvious to anyone native to an area if the author doesn't know it.
