Both lasted literally a few days. The expensive ones actually only about three hours. I try to be careful with them. I make sure they are nice and secure when I go places and I try to be extra careful with them. My parents have stopped buying me pairs because of how often they break and I’ve begun to buy 2-3 pairs at a time. I’m geting to tired of my earbuds suddenly breaking. That’s hat it’s like. One minute they’ll be completely fine and then suddenly their broken!

  • Looking for ultimate headphones for mowing the lawn.?

Ultimately they would be over the ear, Bluetooth, with noise canceling ears and mic. Also be good to be sealed for dust. DONT need superb sound quality, ideally around $100

Best answer: It's not shorting, the ground (common) connection is open circuit.

The result is that the two earphones are effectively connected in series across the left & right outputs, so the only sounds the produce are due to the _difference_ between the left and right stereo channels.

If something is full at one side of the stereo image, so loud on one and faint on the other, you hear it pretty much full volume.

The nearer a sound is to the centre of the stereo image (so nearer equal on both channels), the less difference and the quieter it is. Anything exact centre and exact equal cancels out totally as there is no "difference" signal at all - and that's usually where the vocals are located, dead centre in the stereo image.

It's one version of a common effect that tries to convert music to karaoke, but also tends to remove a lot of wanted sound.

It can also be used to give "expanded stereo" or "pseudo surround" by connecting a second pair of speakers across the outputs of a stereo amp, but with the speaker negatives just connected to each other and no to the amp - giving what you hear. When used as extras with normally connected stereo speakers as well, the emphasised difference makes the overall sound more "spacious"..

  • Why does this CD player of mine stop spinning while playing?

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter, because it plays just fine. But why does it stop spinning? And how does the CD continue to play uninterrupted even when it’s not spinning?

    Best answer: Felony burglary.

If anyone is in the store it's robbery. That's usually a more severe charge.

  • If I had my earbuds in my pocket and they accidentally got put in the washer for 60 minutes, should they still work and safe to use?

Best answer: i would't use them...now that you've watered them they will sprout and if they are in your ear the roots will adhere to your brain and start eating it.

Crosley players are absolute trash, especially compared to your Dual 1019,
a component which you should NEVER let go for any reason.

[Crosley does offer a few rebranded turntables
that at least aren't guaranteed record-wreckers,
but the "originals" on which they are based would still be preferable.]

Your friends seem to be the childish ones,
especially if they think flashy modern garbage outranks fine instruments of the past.

I would like to buy my boyfriend a record player for Christmas. He mentioned months ago that he would love to get one. Unfortunately, that was all that was ever said about it. He never mentioned any specific ones he wanted. If I were to out of the blue ask him about it, he would know why and I would like for it to remain a complete surprise. With that said, I would think sound quality would be the most important thing on the list seconded by looks. He isn't really a fan of anything that is ultra modern looking. I have seen some turntables out there that fit that description. He would probably appreciate something that looks a little more classic. I'm not looking to spend over $200 but if there is something that I think he'll really like, I would be willing to spend slightly over that. I'm not familiar with record players in the slightest so any help will be appreciated.

Sometimes the noise is caused by a leaky coupling capacitor
because it allows DC voltage to get to the pot.
Replacing the bad cap should solve that problem.
