  • How bad is it to steal a pen from work?

Best answer: The occasional pen is not really that big a deal. Just don't get greedy and start stealing fistfuls of them because that's when you will be caught.

Best answer: What size is the final ad? How/where is it being published?

The text is small and is partially obscured by the background image.

Not sure the headline is attention-grabbing (Excel being a Microsoft software it might also be confusing), just Chemistry Tuition might be enough. The Star (of David) is superfluous.

The indents on the body text is all over the place, it needs to align, start with getting that right and then enlarge it (reduce the gap between each bullet). Then work on the position and scale of the image, if necessary fade out some of the atoms/molecules. You really only need one to get the "chemistry" message across.

You might want to start the copy with the tutor's name, for example –

    • Mr Chong is an ex-JC and Sec School Teacher with 19 years of tuition experience offering A/O Level Chemistry tuition

Then meet up with them and form a production company with you as the producer and writer of the ideas and them as the art director and animator of the ideas. Take some courses in production and creative writing and advertising art, and multi-media production. You be the one to draw out or write out the storyline and draw the story board, but have the animator friend do the artwork and animations. Then it will get done faster and good luck!

Best answer: It's always boring to go through the basics, but it has to be done in order to get the muscle memory of the movements used in different drawing exercises down pat. The thing, as you suggest, is to make learning fun and that can be done in different ways. doing different types of drawing is one way. Drawing anime is always fun and it teaches you at the same time. You learn the different characteristics of drawing chibis as opposed to drawing manga characters, which teaches you the various facial structures and so on. Doing some cartooning to loosen up your drawing muscles and making your characters flow easily rather than stiff, contrived features is another way to practise. You learn the basics regardless of the type of drawing you do, but it is always good to go over the basics taught in various books that feature drawing hands, figures and so on. Play some music while you're drawing. Generally, not too loud, but you decide what works for you. When I'm in my studio, I enjoy having music playing quietly in the background. Sometimes I will work in the front room where the television is and keep drawing or whatever while a movie is playing. I keep an ear open for the dialogue and can get a lot of drawing done at the same time. Making learning the basics fun can be done. You just need to find the right way of distracting yourself without the distraction being too distracting. Does that make sense? LOL I think you know what I'm saying. But, basically, you just need to get working on learning once again and getting up to the level where you were before you went off drawing in the first place. Hope you get the fun back in to your art once again. There can be a lot of enjoyment even if it can be a tad boring by times.

So I have been drawing since I was little. The past 3-4 years I started to take art seriously as I want to go to college for art. I draw every day and I haven’t gotten any better in 3 years. What’s wrong with me? I try to draw new things every day and I draw from all angles and I my art still looks as though a child drew it. I have tested many different styles and I can’t find one that suits me. I really need to figure this out as I’m going to college in 3 years. Everyone on my dads side of the family is great at art and I’m not. I really love art but if my art stays the way it is, I’ll never be able to get into any of the colleges I want to go to. Any advice?

Hey, i'm a new artist and at the moment working on how to make the human body less awkward looking in my art. So i'm currently looking for references of the human body, only the problem is every reference is a drawing rather than a real life human. I know about life drawing but my small town doesn't have any art classes/courses. I've only found one Deviantart page that uses humans as references, but I want to know if there is any other places to look. I'm currently using: senshistock.deviantart.com

  • How to get rid of little white spots when coloring?

Whenever I draw anything and color it I always have those tiny white parts that the color pencil doesn t cover for some reason. I thought maybe it was my colored pencils so I bought prismacolors, but I still have the exact same problem! Is there some technique? Do I need special paper? Another type of pencil?
