• Did the Pope pick up any American type of pounds/weight when he visited?
  • Drawers... Do you use pen or pencil?

Best answer: Some pencil drawings have survived for a long time -hundreds of years even. The drawing should be sprayed with something like an acrylic coating, and it should be on acid free paper. With simple precautions like that a pencil drawing can be permanent.

  • NEED YOUR OPINION!!!! What do you think about this drawing?
  • I have never enjoyed drawing?

Best answer: If you don’t have fun don’t continue, why waste time and money on something you genuinely don’t enjoy? You can always have it as a hobby but do what makes you happy.

But the thing is. Can you have a robot do it for you? I mean robots are replacing humans on jobs and they're not going to tire out.. So why not? But despite the benefits. There's probably still going to be disadvantages.

Wolves don't have eyebrows. The ears are too small and the line on the inside edge is in the wrong place, unless that's the ear fluff, then you should have the ear edge defined better. Ears should be shaped a bit different. Otherwise, it's a good try.

Use reference photos for practice. A lot of wolves that are calm have the top of their eyes a horizontal line, not a round eye. And the face markings can be pretty striking.

I've been drawing for almost 7 years now and although I've definitely improved, I feel that improvement is painfully slow. I've never used any form of guidelines except for a rough circle for the head. I really, really struggle to draw bodies and clothing. Usually, in order to draw a pose, I have to find an image of someone doing that pose online and copy it line for line, which makes my drawing look stiff and wonky at the same time. I can't just go straight in and draw a simple standing pose. Issue is, because I never started off with guidelines, I feel like I don't have the "foundation." I've been trying to use guidelines to draw bodies recently, but my guidelines look absolutely horrendous and ruin everything. But I feel like without guidelines, my drawings will always be really stiff? Is this true, and any tips?

Best answer: First thing you need to do is break yourself of the idea that you aren't a real artist unless you can draw without a reference. I guarantee that every single artist you love and admire uses references. You won't be able to draw a subject purely from imagination until you have practiced drawing it from life for literally for hundreds of hours.Start taking your own photographs and building your own library of references. Also see if there is a life drawing co-op in your area. You pay a small fee and you have access to a live model. This experience is invaluable, though you may need to e a bit older as the models are often nude.

If you want some books to start with, I highly recommend Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, and anything by Andrew Loomis and James Gurney. Loomis's books are available for free online. They are hands down the best introduction to drawing the human form you will find.

You're already one step ahead in that you can see there's room for improvement. Mind-set is half the work done. So take classes, practise daily, don't be afraid to try new things - even if it's completely unrelated to what you normally do - that's how you learn.
