It is a reasonable request and in the broad scope of Halloween costumes not a difficult request to follow. Halloween is not about sexy and suggestive costumes. If your imagination is not good enough to come up with a good costume that is not sexy or suggestive, perhaps it is not the party for you.

  • I redeemed a “free” pizza totaling $3.20 with fees and taxes. Is a tip necessary?

I live 1.1 miles from the restaurant. I normally drive, but I recently had a seizure so I’m staying in today while my partner is away at work.

  • Screaming toddlers, should be banned from malls? Especially when the mother does nothing but let it scream.? Anyone agree?

Best answer: Not all mothers know how to quiet their little kids. Sometimes the cause is beyond her control, such as when there are loud high-pitched sounds from security apparatus, that only very young ears can hear. It would be a lovely luxury to have a person available 24/7 to take care of a small child at home, so mom... show more

It would be a lovely luxury to have a person available 24/7 to take care of a small child at home, so mom could shop in peace and take as long as necessary. Unfortunately, young families don't generally have that much money to spare.

Well, next time you're in a big shopping mall, observe how many moms are pushing bright-eyed little kids in strollers, with nary a peep out of them. The screamers are really in the minority.

  • Borrowed baking dish?

Best answer: Deliberately keeping something that does not belong to you and when you have not received the authority of the owner to do so. If this situation was reversed, how would you feel if someone purposely kept an item you had loaned them? Would you consider this unreasonable and inappropriate?

  • Is it okay to give my manager half my paycheck for her birthday?

My manager is always so sweet and genuine and kind and her birthday is coming up on this saturday. I looked online and saw how much I'm getting. We get paid this Friday and I will be getting 950 so I was going to give her about 700 of it with a note telling her she is a great manager. Is this okay?

  • How should I reply to this question? "Hello How Are you" I work in a medical office as a nurses assistant, & sometimes I meet patients?

Best answer: If it helps, this has nothing to do with your job. When people ask how we are, it's kind of a throwaway question. They really don't care how you are, but they think it's awkward to just say "Hello". It isn't, but they think this. They might even think it's rude to just say... show more

I use something generic, like "I'm good, thanks!" and then move on.

  • Is it ok to dress "poor"?

Best answer: That was pretty rude. Who made her the fashion guru? Some people just think they're all that. That's just her opinion. It's hard making connections, you just need a way in.

You should bring the subject up in a conversational manner though. Say something along the lines of, "you recently saw them , and their little granddaughter says she likes her new school. And her parents seem to be very satisfied with the switch to public school."
It'd be a good idea if you actually did talk to your friend ( casually) about how her little girl is doing in school, if you haven't already. This way, if anything came up about you having a big mouth, you can say you only spoke the truth, and didn't know she hadn't told her parents about the change in schools.

  • Is it okay to cry at work in front of customers?

So I work on the sales floor and I noticed that my phone recieved a text. So I go and check it and my boyfriend broke up with me. I couldn't help but be very sad and couldn't stop myself form crying. Some customers noticed me crying so they would avoid asking me for any help. Can I get into trouble for this?

The crazy woman then bursts out crying and yelling saying to someone she was talking to on the phone that I was being mean to her and yelling at her. I was like woah and backed away cause she was acting like a psycho. She even said she was having a nervous breakdown. Then her father and sister show up and cuss me out because she lied to them saying I yelled at her and was mean to her. A tow truck finally towed it away after an hour. So do you think I did anything wrong or is she just crazy? She delivers my mail btw!!!! So I'm worried she'll tamper with my mail.
