• Good mystery/crime/thriller TV series?

I have Amazon Prime so any on there would be cool but don't mind if not. Looking for a good show that's engrossing but equally has you guessing and eager to find out. good writing, acting and overall show. If anyone recommends something as trash as Walking Dead (or even says it) then I will hunt you down.

  • Is the TV show "American Gods" any good?

Can't work out from the trailers if it is cheesy, action action action and little to no plot/character development or a decent/great programme?

  • How did a show as lame and unfunny as Married...With Children last for 11 seasons?

Do people just have bad taste and actually find that entertaining? The only thing that show had going for it was that it was very edgy for that time. But if that show had come out today it would seem like nothing.

  • Why does American television never show American history or constitutional shows anymore?

Best answer: The new oligarchy has been started with mergers and acquisitions, and shows that educate but don't profit well are nixed. News was first.

  • Won't it taser you too if you are holding the person as you taser them?

Best answer: Unless the bad guys were wearing gloves with insulators in them (thick, rubber gloves would do) then it should. It would also be prevented if they were grabbing a part of the victim's clothing that insulates- rubber, for instance, or Teflon. Basically, it would electrocute the bad guys as well as their victims unless there was some sort of insulator between the perpetrator's hand(s) and the victim's body.

    God bless you!

  • Great tv series to get into? What's your favorite?

Best answer: Am I limited to currently airing? What about streaming service exclusives? I'll include everything since even the current stuff you're going to want to start from the start. The Good Place (sitcom about moral philosophy and ethics)

Breaking Bad (if you don't at least know the gist of this, you probably have been living in a cave)

Veronica Mars (funny, clever, teen detective show with some drama, but SO much smarter than a normal teen show)

Black Mirror (literally the oddest show I've ever seen..a sci fi anthology with basically no rules. A modern Twilight Zone of sorts)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (slow starter - mid season 2 it picks up, but once it gets going it's on ofthe most metaphor laden shows ever and is studied in college courses and books)

Archer (until season 8 this was one of the most consistently funny shows I may have ever seen)

Rick & Morty (so funny, so smart, but also so crude)

Dexter (some seasons are not so good like the one with the Barrel girls and the finale. But basically about a serial killer protagonist)

The Americans (really picks up in season 3. About deep cover KGB spies in the 80s)

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (Time travel, alternate dimensions, wacky as hell, but funny and clever along the way)

Death Note (anime, not the live action. What if someone could kill people by writing their name in a book?)

Stargate SG-1 (give it a season to pick up steam, and don't bother past season 8. See the movie first. The premise is SO cheesy sounding, but this show makes it work, I swear.)

West Wing (heavy bias, but the best politics TV show ever)

Dead Like Me (black comedy about death and life as seen by a group of grim reapers)

Wonderfalls (a girl is pushed by supernatural visions of talking toys to do seemingly random things that get her involved in life despite her desire to be detached from the world)

Pushing Daisies (a detective show about a man who can bring the dead back briefly so he can investigate their murders)

Black Adder (A silly comedy by Rowan Atkinson about a nasty man named Black Adder inserted into various moments of British history)

Boston Legal (Heavy bias, but one of the better procedural legal dramas, IMHO. Dealt with lots of deep issues)

Arrested Development (ignore past season 3...a zany and clever comedy)

iZombie (not really a zombie show in the traditional sense, really a procedural cop show with a twist of things they call zombies that aren't like normal zombies)

Future Man (Hulu original. Basically every 1980s sci fi trope gets a tribute and parody in a hilarious time travel story)

American Horror Story (deeply inconsistent from season to season, but it was good and weird)

The Office (US) (Pure sitcom, but really good until nearly the end)

30 Rock (Again, pure sitcom, but a good one)

  • Why don't critic review episodes of TV shows?

They can do and get away with everything on episodes of TV Shows because critics don't review episodes of TV Shows only movies. like there's an episode of a TV Show that's the worst thing ever but nobody criticizes it because it's an episode of a show not a movie. why is that?
