  • My car got towed at my apartment complex and I think they lied about not being able to help me?

Best answer: They could do whatever they choose to do, from pay 100% of the towing fees to paying nothing. All the other details as for previous situations, or why the sticker was not visible really don't matter, there is no independent arbitrator, the office decides and that that is it. My guess is they just don't want to pay the money.
The only thing you can do is complain to the regional office (if there is one) , or a general manager.

    get one of these.

Just today I was driving to work and this car behind me was tailgating me. Thing is I couldn’t go fast because I was stuck behind a truck. When we reach a light, I get stuck behind the res light. The car behind me, who was tailgating me, gets impatient and swerves around me running the red Light. I mean, I get that people don’t like to drive slow and have places to be, but don’t people realize that driving fast, and I mean fast fast, is so dangerous. Idk, any thoughts or experiences about this? I’m curious to see how other people feel.

Just a random question because mostly people who have loud straight pipes are mostly the ones who drive manual.

  • I just received a class D Learners permit in the mail that says “not for federal purposes”, is it fake?

So I’m 18 now and had the DJ permit since 10th grade. I live in NY if it helps. Is it fake? It seems kinda sketchy.

  • In America, Does Head rest come from Head restraint, or does Head rest literally mean what rests your head on it?

Best answer: It's a head restraint. Intended to reduce whiplash injury in event of and accident. You'll find they are deliberately set too far back to "rest" your head upon, otherwise people would just fall asleep at the wheel.. You know they would.

  • My CDL license be expired since 2016 can I renew them or do I have to start all over again retake the text in all?

Best answer: Yep. You will have to start from scratch. You should ALWAYS keep your CDL current even if you aren't using it right then. Costs you a few bucks a year, but you never know when an opportunity will not arise.

Best answer: No, and of course you know you are joking. Even so, there is a serious point here. After two or three days driving on the side of the road opposite to your habitual side, few people have any problems. However, for those first few days and for driving on narrow unmarked rural roads some people find it very helpful to stick a label on the dashboard or in the centre of the steering wheel bearing a left-pointing arrow drawn on it with a broad felt-tipped pen. It is a potential life-saver when you round a bend on a narrow unmarked road and face an oncoming vehicle, like you, in the middle. Your eye catches the arrow in that moment of panic and you make the correct choice of direction. Another danger moment is your first drive on returning to your home country. You have become used to putting so much effort into changing the habit of a lifetime that you pull out of your own driveway and look the wrong way. Now you know why so many people hang religious paraphernalia round their cars — there is no absolutely safe car journey.

Best answer: What you're buying when you buy "regular" at a pump is always unleaded in 2018.

The only way you're buying leaded gasoline (at least in the USA or Europe) in 2018 is if you're buying it from a special pump that is probably locked up and says "race fuel only" on it... and you might not even find that anywhere any more. I knew of 1 gas station fairly close to a local racetrack where I used to live that sold leaded 110 octane fuel ~10 years ago. That's the last time I saw it available anywhere.

Lead (tetraethyl lead) used to be added to gasoline because lead is fantastic at preventing premature detonation (knock). Unfortunately, lead is also extremely poisonous to just about every living thing on the planet so most if not all of the civilized world stopped adding tetraethyl lead to their gasoline for motor vehicles decades ago.
