Is this a normal goal to have?

So I have been fascinated with the idea of disappearing completely and resurfacing with a different identity in a different country. Now, I will make it clear that I do not owe money to any Mafia nor I am an ex hitman, I am a 23 year old uni student who is living with his parents.

However, upon graduating and getting a job these are my bucket list.

    1. Move out in to a new apartment.

    2. Change name.

    3. Work for 4 years and earn some decent money then move to a new country.(The final stage of the great vanishing act.)

In a way I am inspired by Tommy Wiseau as upon migrating to USA no one new his past beside the fact that he is of European descent.

I also want to experience the freedom of a man without a past, someone who can recreate his identity and not stick to the identity he is born with.

PS. I don't have much social life yet so I won't be missed much, also I do plan to keep in touch with my parents but be pretty much gone to everyone else.

    This normal lol?

Are people more intelligent or do we only have greater knowledge?

    Favourite answer:

    Interesting question.  I don't know.

Part of the problem is there is no universally accepted definition for intelligence. Some might see improvements in human thinking, compared to centuries ago, as an increase in intelligence, while others might see it as applying knowledge about what we learned from the past.

How to go back in time?

I want to go back too see the era where people actually used flip phones with buttons, actually went outside, textbooks were the main thing in school. Unlike today, we have buttonless phones, socializing is absolutely ancient and we would all be stuck to a screen. I want to see the era where everything is more simple and less technical. If there is a way, then I'd do anything to go back to see how it was back before I was born.

Do many Americans know that the internet is worldwide?

You'll notice them because they ask questions only pertaining to America but never say so. Like America is their world.

Or is it just that America is a very self absorbed society?

    Thanks

Anybody else feel like there is a war against straight white men I will never apologise for being a alpha white male who likes boobs & guns ?

    Favourite answer:

I think you have a point. I think some of the minorities use their situation as a weapon to try to shame white men into agreeing to give in to the biased way they look at the world. I have been a good citizen, I've never gotten anything free from the government, I have contributed to help those who are poor and disadvantaged. So, like you I will never apologize or feel guilty for being a white male. I frankly am somewhat concerned that sometime in the future there's going to be considerable conflict with so-called minorities demanding special treatment.

why do some men not age fast when they are in their 40's while others look really old ?

    Favourite answer:

Some people live their lives harder than other people.  I go to my high school reunions every year, and we were 58 at our last one.  The partiers - smokers, drinkers, etc., had aged a lot by then, but many of the "goody two shoes" had not.

It seems what is inside of you gets written on your face as you age.  A woman who had been attractive as a girl, but with a sour personality looked sour at 58.  Others still looked good - not good for their age, but good, period.  It takes all kinds!

Why does the media try and brainwash people so obviously?

The gov't shouldn't push any sort of social agenda, and nor should anything else. The media does subtle things like reporting a obscure rare case which makes people generalise it to apply to everything. (eg: a reprot found no institutional racism, then the media report a case of an austic policeman who was a neo-nazi (a rare an obsecure case)).

Or they'll report things with language like "people are unhappy" to try and encourage people tho feel the same.Another thing the media does is promote a social media through its BBC programmes, feminists characters treating men unfairly, or shows that  depict men as weak and pathetic. This is all very subtle but it promotes a social agenda. That killing eve programme for example). Another example is doctor who.
