The only information you provided is "yeah" and a tone of their voice.
In reality that could mean almost anything.
Maybe they don't like your hairstyle, clothing, car, attitude, the way you treat your partner, what you were doing at the time or even unbeknownst to you that you stole her away from one of their sons (that's just speculation).

You have no real means to determine exactly what they were thinking at the time and concluded therefore this must be a racial snub.

As you say, it could even be they were discussing something else and happened to look your way.
What if they think you're hot looking or perhaps imagine you're a stud in the bedroom?

Of course it's possible they were judging you racially. Bogans aren't always the easiest people to get along with and tend to fault find with everyone. I have no doubt they'd find fault with me too. They're just that way inclined.

Best answer: I'm not sure Tony Abbott is a supporter of abolition of the monarchy. There is a lot of respect and love for the Queen in Australia. That said public opinion has moving in favor of a republic for some time. The failure of the last referendum had more to do with the type of republic that was being put forward rather than the idea itself.

I suspect support for abolition of the monarchy will rise sharply when the current Monarch dies but it will remain an issue that is for the main part symbolic. I think it is inevitable that the country will ditch the monarchy and I support that. Id rather the country take its time setting up a system as stable as the current one rather than rush head first to ditch the monarchy.

The early settlers in every British colony signed treaties with the indigenous population, but even 200 years after the fact Australia still refuses to sign a treaty with the Aboriginals. In other British dominions such as New Zealand and Canada, treaties were signed ASAP to ensure they were well treated. It was only 50 years ago that a referendum in Australia gave Aboriginals citizenship status. They had no right to vote before that! In 1988, the Barunga Aboriginals presented Bob Hawke with a treaty written on tree bark that he refused to sign. He hung it in is office, like a trophy. The Australian government has consistently claimed that before European colonisation, Australia belonged to no one. It was only in 2008 that Kevin Rudd issued an apology to Australia's indigenous peoples but he still refused to sign a treaty. Why won't you sign a treaty with the Aboriginals?

It is a move that has come back to hit them in the face. The indigenous community in Australia says this is yet another example of crass cultural appropriation. Chanel have been ridiculed and condemned on social media. They have been lambasted on Twitter. I can understand how the Aboriginals are so upset, it's a national icon. What if it doesn't actually come back though? Say goodbye to $2,000. If you want to buy a boomerang buy it from an Aboriginal...I hear they are the most reliable.
