• Does anyone know of and MP3 player that works like Ipod but doesn't cost an arm or a leg and holds at lease 32 gbs of music?

I'm trying to find something that actually stores my music alphabetically and in cd style. The last MP3 player I got from amazon would only let you go through one song at a time which was really annoying.

There are two main things to check.

    First is the motor pulley.

If it has anything on it that doesn't belong there,
such as hair, lint, or particles shed from the belt,
    it needs to be cleaned.
Don't use Anything that can scar it, such as screwdrivers,
cutting blades of any kind, metal tweezers, etc.

If the pulley is plastic, use 91% or better isopropyl alcohol and Q-Tips to remove any deposits.

If it is metal (aluminium or brass), use either the aforementioned alcohol or MEK (methyl ethyl ketone).
    Don't use MEK on plastics!
Another good chemical, if you can find any, is TF solvent (Freon 113), but it's nearly impossible to obtain any more.
It is safe on most plastics.

The other thing to check is any motor speed adjustments provided.
(I don't know whether there are any on that model).

If there is some sort of adjustment, place a strobe disc on the platter
and adjust the speed until the pattern appears to stand still.
Sometimes it won't stand absolutely still; in that case, get it as close as you can.

You will need a fluorescent light of limited brightness (to minimize glare),
or a neon night light plugged into an extension cord, to do this.

Or, take it to an audio repair shop and have a professional do the work.

  • How do I digitize a cassette tape?

I have some old cassette tapes with voice recordings (no music) that I want to put on my computer. I got a USB cassette player and saved them, but just one of the tapes was over 1GB. Does it really have to be that big, or is there a setting I can change?

  • What is a legit site to buy mp3s legally for an mp3 player except amazon music?

Best answer: Any music shop. Buy CDs and rip the to MP3 yourself.

If anything happens to your files you have the originals - and you can make the rips any quality and type you want, rather than limited quality MP3 as some places sell.

  • Are clear or coloured vinyls worse quality than normal black ones? Or is it just a low quailty record player?

Best answer: It really depends on the grade of raw vinyl that was used to make the record. Your player is a piece of sh*t. Get a real turntable, receiver, and speakers (i.e. a Stereo System) so you can get more worthwhile results out of your records. Want a quick education? Want a quick education?

Take your worthless player to an audio store (Not a big box full of geeks) and play part of one track on it,
then put the record on a demonstrator turntable and play the same part again.

If that doesn't convince you, you can't be convinced.

My parents recently got me an electrif guitar from a yard sale, I was pretty happy and excited about it since I’ve never played an electric guitar as I only ever had an acoustic. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE COMPONENTS OF ELECTRIC GUITARS When I plugged the guitar in my amp, it did not make the sound of the guitar strings but it sounded like it was grounded, high pitched noise came out of the amp, did my parents just waste 80 dollars? I went to go look at where the problem might be, I open up the output jack and I see this. https://imgur.com/gallery/fxZ3cnM https://imgur.com/gallery/Vk8M0TM When tapping on the strings, there would be small thumping sounds coming out of the amp, and when I strum there would be scratching sounds coming out of the amp. Sometimes, theres no sound at all or its just the high pitched grounded noise. My question is, can I get the wires replaced at a guitar shop? Or can they still be soldered onto the output jack? Theres also remainders of the wire on the metal already, and its other half is i guess cut by the previous owner, but you can still see a little bit of the wire inside in the first picture. Also, the previous owner has soldered the wires before, you can tell by the second picture.

  • Why is it that an MP3 player from 10 years ago has more storage than a modern phone or MP3 player?

Best answer: Not exactly going backwards. Streaming has become a big thing, something we couldn't do from an MP3 player 10 years ago. Because of that, we don't need all that space for music anymore.
