It's pretty much the same sandwich I've been eating since I first went to Subway in Honolulu over 25 years ago.

Interesting fact - that sandwich, with a bag of Doritos, has more calories, more carbs, more salt, more sugar, and more trans fats than a large Big Mac meal at McDonald's.

  • Would most Americans notice if McDonalds used rat meat in hamburgers?

    Best answer: No.
Most of us don't know what rat meat tastes like.

But if what I hear is true, rodent meat is particularly identified by an extreme greasiness and being a little too tender - almost mushy.
Which is about exactly what McDonalds tastes like

I'm a 17 year old boy that recently got employed at a Jack in the Box (burger place) as a cashier. Up until a few days ago all I did was clean and restock but on Tuesday two team leaders decided it was time to train me to be a cashier. First they brought up a training system that allowed me to mess around with the menu items and overall just get familiar with the cash register. The team leaders showed me how to remove stuff from burgers, how to add additional stuff, how to work with coupons, ebt, and credit cards plus other stuff. I felt extremely uncomfortable the first few times I actually took a customer's order but by the 10th customer i was starting to get the hang of it (sort of).I have to go back on Saturday though and I'm kind of nervous. Would anyone be willing to give me some tips or advice? How should I greet customers? What are some common things that happen while taking an order and how should I adress them? How should I give back money and what should I say after? Anything helps. Thanks

  • You are at Starbucks. What do you order?

Best answer: I usually get a venti iced earl grey tea with milk and no sugar.

Oh yes, I don't "order" my drink. I simply walk to the counter, smile at my friend who's working as a barista there, and I get a drink for free. All the baristas do that for their friends, BTW. No one complains!

Best answer: Your first step is to BE EARLY! Not 'on time'.
You will most likely go through some briefing before you actually start working.

First impressions are important. Act the way you want them to see you as because no matter how long you work there, they will remember you for being that.

Always carry a pen and something small to take notes on. When they show you around, it all the things they will be telling you will go by quick and after your introduction process, they will let you work independently and you don't want to be confused on what to do. Take your notes. But of course do not be afraid to ask questions. You just don't want to be the kind of person who keeps asking the same question 3 or 4 times because you 'keep forgetting'.

Since you are going to be in fast food, avoid habits (if you have) like touching your face/hair, scratching your nose/arms, touching things around you, leaning on counters. Your body language shows a lot.

    I hope this helps.

  • Why do people not like Pizza Hut that much anymore?

What's happening to our junk food restaurants in general? KFC, McDonald's etc. And the cadbury snacks as well? It doesn't taste original anymore.
