4 * 4 - SQRT(4) - SQRT (4) = 12

4 * 4 - 4 + SQRT(4) = 14

Isn't it time to start doing these on your own?

lol.. 4+4+4-4=12, not 8.. so that is how you get twelve, eiht is 4x4-4-4, 14 is impossible with using 4, 4 times.

do you have to use it 4 times? or can you not exceed 4 times?

4x4-4=12

i don't know how to get to 14

Twelve is easy.... 4 + 4 + 4

14 is a little trickier but just as easy.

(4+4+4+4) - 4 x (4/(4+4))

(44+4)/4=12

((44-4)/4)+4=14

for 12: 4+4+4 or (4x4)-4+4

for 14: (4x4)-4+sqrt(4)

yeah, that should be about right. =]

4x(4-(4/4))=4x(4-1)=4x3=12

4x4-((4+4)/4)=16-(8/4)=16-2=14

I don't know if it will help u though cuz it's using 4, 5 times
