Would A-line dresses cover your big hips?

My cousin has big hips and she's looking for any dress that can cover her big hips. So would A-line silhouette dresses do that? And is there any other silhouette dress that can cover her big hips?

Update:

When I said cover, I mean to hide the big hips.

An A line dress is a good choice, also an empire waisted dress is good, as it accentuates the smaller waist. Also, to create an hour glass looking figure, pick a dress with thick straps, or little fluttery sleeves, like almost cap sleeves. It will give it an hour glass appearance.

A-line can work, but it can also make your hips look bigger if the fabric is too tight, and off balance.

Try empire line or babydoll and if she wants to tone down her hips try a classical black colour with minimal detail and no shimmer/glitter/layers.

This being said, often it looks better if someone with curves embraces them and wears a fitted corsett-y like dress that hugs their figure.

A-line is one of the most flattering silhouettes for people all people, but especially those with some extra lbs.

A fish net can cover them, but it can't "hide" them. <}:-})
