how do Buddhists, Christians, Islams and Jews define and deal with sacredness??

    I can't answer your question, but I can say something about sacredness...

    What bothers me is that if something is considered sacred, then, by natural design, there are many things that are not.

    I understand this to be just one example of how most religions are inherently dualistic.

    I think that the bible represents this when Adam and Eve are leaving the garden and they walk out on either side of the tree.
