There are loads of great names for girls. Try looking on the internet or somewhere to get a huge variety of names you could chose. If I were you, go for something not too extravagent, or a name that you could hate in two years time.

My personal favourites would have to be ; lilly, sophie, and alexa.

Girls are much easier to name than boys since there are so many modern options, whereas names for boys tend to be more traditional.

Go for something easy to spell and pronounce - a girl won't enjoy having to write a long, complicated name on forms for the rest of her life.

Here are a few simple, short ones which are nice but not too popular.

    Iris

    Evie

    Tina

    Nicole

    Cara

    Lisa

    Carrie

    Fiona

I've always loved the name Morella.

It's not common at all, but it sounds gorgeous and elegant.

The meaning of Morella is "great"

    It's a name for girls.

    And the origin is Irish.
