I don't think many do, unfortunately. I don't think that many on this forum take full responsibility of the life they hold in their hands... People fail to realize that just because these animals can't voice their pain in a manner that many humans can understand, that they don't experience pain. It is sad.....and each day after reading some of the stupid posts here, knowing that most won't be taken to the vet, I go home and give my dogs even more love --- somehow wishing the animals I've read about here could feel that.
In the past few months, I've spent $350 on one dog (my avatar); and am up over $300 on another who is experiencing liver problems. Not to mention the two cats - one who visits the vet every three weeks for ulcers in his mouth and the other who has allergies twice a year. Then, add in their annual shots, heartworm meds, etc.,,,,,,
Fortunately, I feel it is money well spent....I only wish these posters would figure that out!
