    Nothing. Actually, its not about Iran at all.

    The Bush Administration claims that they are trying to build nuclear weapons and that they are working with Al Qaeda, and that they are supplying the Iraqi Insurgents with weapons blah blah blah.........

    Problem is, they have NO solid evidence to back up those claims. Sound familiar? Do they really think the same lies that involved us in Iraq will work AGAIN? Maybe they're right, because there are still plenty of idiots out there that believe everything that flies out of the Presidents mouth.

    First, Iran has NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS, and they ended they're attempts at a nuclear program YEARS ago. Our own Intelligence agencies have confirmed this:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7125701.stm

    And yet Bush continues to say that they are trying to build a Nuke. Bush gets his info from the Intelligence Community. If THEY say there are no nukes, then what magical place is Bush getting all this info from, and where is the proof? Remember Iraq, folks! Where are all those WMD's again?

    Iran has been building a Nuclear Power Station, but the U.S. has those as well as many other countries, so what right do we have to tell Iran that they can't have Nuclear Power Stations?

    There is also no evidence that Iran is providing weapons to insurgents according to the current government of Iraq:

    “Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said there was no 'hard evidence' of involvement by the neighbouring Shiite government of Iran in backing Shiite militiamen in the embattled country. Asked about reports that weapons captured from Shiite fighters bore 2008 markings suggesting Iranian involvement, Dabbagh said: ‘We don't have that kind of evidence... If there is hard evidence we will defend the country.’"

    Just because the American Press or Bush repeats something over and over again, it does not make it true.

    This is not about a war with Iran. Its about a War on the American People.

    At the outset of the Iraq war, the Bush administration predicted that it would cost $50 billion to $60 billion to oust Saddam Hussein, restore order and install a new government. Five years in, the Pentagon tags the cost of the Iraq war at roughly $600 billion and counting. Joseph E. Stiglitz, a Nobel Prize-winning economist and critic of the war, pegs the long-term cost at more than $4 trillion.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/19/washington/19cos...

    There were people predicting this BEFORE the war even started guys:

    http://www.amacad.org/publications/monographs/iraq...

    Now, if the Iraq War is costing us in the Trillions, and our Economy is currently in a downward spiral with no foreseeable bottom, then what the hell do you think will happen if we invade Iran!?

    Why would Bush and the neo-cons support such an action? Why won't the Democrats do anything to get in their way? Short answer: They WANT an economic collapse in America! This has been the goal all along, not control of oil or American military dominance.

    Bush, most of his Cabinet, Hillary Clinton, Obama, McCain, and others belong to a group called the Council on Foreign Relations. This group has stated over the years consistently and publicly that their goal is the dissolution of all Sovereign borders and the formation of a single World Government under the direct control of an International "Elite."

    "The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the American Branch of a society which originated in England ... (and) ... believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established."

    - Carroll Quigley, member of Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), mentor to Bill Clinton, quote from “Tragedy and Hope”, 1966

    "The powers of financial capitalism had (a) far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

    - Carroll Quigley, member of Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), mentor to Bill Clinton, quote from “Tragedy and Hope”, 1966

    If we invade Iran, the U.S. Economy will collapse IMMEDIATELY. If not, then it will probably still collapse, just more slowly. Expect Iran and Opec to switch over to the Euro instead of the Dollar as its currency of choice when trading oil. This along with the massive inflation caused by the Federal Reserve will cripple our economy. Also expect China to demand payment on the 2 Trillion Dollars they lent us to pay for the CFR's little war in Iraq.

    The only way to distract the people of this country away from the imminent death of their economy and the formation of a supranational government is to keep them constantly fearful of their own death. A war with Iran would kill two birds with one stone, crushing the economy AND terrifying the public with a newly created enemy.

    LOL! is that your "expert" analysis? I think you should do a little research besides watching Fox News.

    First, Iranian President Ahmadinejad NEVER said he wanted to "wipe Israel from the map." The Main Stream Media misquoted him over and over. This is exactly what he said in that notorious speech in the Farsi Language:

    "Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad."

    Now here is a direct translation:

    Imam (Khomeini) ghoft (said) een (this) rezhim-e (regime) ishghalgar-e (occupying) qods (Jerusalem) bayad (must) az safheh-ye ruzgar (from page of time) mahv shavad (vanish from).

    "The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time".

    http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=vie...

    Nowhere in there does he say "Wipe Isreal off the map." And calling out against a "Regime" is a lot different than calling for genocide.

    He may not like Israel, but frankly, who cares. They have nuclear weapons. They can take care of themselves. Its not our job to constantly fight their battles for them.

    Second, you said that Iran is actively trying to build an "atomic bomb." As I have shown, even the CIA said that he was not. Where is your proof that Iran is doing this?

    Third, yes, its funny that you should mention the war between Iran and Iraq. Guess who was selling weapons to both sides illegally? That's right, the U.S.A! What do you think the IRAN CONTRA hearings were about man!

    According to The New York Times, the United States supplied the following arms to Iran:[23]

    * August 20, 1984. 96 TOW anti-tank missiles

    * September 14, 1984. 408 more TOWs

    * November 24, 1984. 18 Hawk anti-aircraft missiles

    * February 17, 1986. 500 TOWs

    * February 27, 1986. 500 TOWs

    * May 24, 1986. 508 TOWs, 240 Hawk spare parts

    * August 4, 1986. More Hawk spares

    * October 28, 1986. 500 TOWs

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran-Contra_Affair

    We also sold WMD's to Iraq:

    "Reports by the US Senate's committee on banking, housing and urban affairs -- which oversees American exports policy -- reveal that the US, under the successive administrations of Ronald Reagan and George Bush Sr, sold materials including anthrax, VX nerve gas, West Nile fever germs and botulism to Iraq right up until March 1992, as well as germs similar to tuberculosis and pneumonia. Other bacteria sold included brucella melitensis, which damages major organs, and clostridium perfringens, which causes gas gangrene."

    http://www.commondreams.org/headlines02/0908-08.ht...

    "The shipments to Iraq went on even after Saddam Hussein ordered the gassing of the Kurdish town of Halabja, in which at least 5000 men, women and children died. The atrocity, which shocked the world, took place in March 1988, but a month later the components and materials of weapons of mass destruction were continuing to arrive in Baghdad from the US."

    "The Senate report also makes clear that: 'The United States provided the government of Iraq with 'dual use' licensed materials which assisted in the development of Iraqi chemical, biological and missile-system programs."

    We continued selling Biological Weapons to Saddam AFTER he Gassed the Kurds!

    Think before you speak ky.............

    Read the book written by Obama's sr. foreign policy adviser, Brzezinski, called the "The Grand Chessboard".

    The plan for Iran and Iraq is nicely set out there. Interesting, he also predicted a "9/11" type event to scare the dickens out of the people to secure support for the wars.

    Look up Brzezinski's connections to the gang of bandits commonly referred to as "neocons". Look up his connections to David Rockefeller. Once you understand Rockefeller's agenda, you understand war.

    We are going into Iran regardless of what Iran does. It was planned years ago and now the plan is in play.

    Don't expect the corporate controlled main stream media to do anything other than beat the war drums. The media is owned by a few giant corporations who also own other corporations that profit from war.

    Don't trust the messenger when the messenger is the profiteer. Use non-corporate, independent news sources to learn about Iran.

    Telly (above).

    If you think Obama will be any different than McCain as to foreign policy, think again. Both candidates are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. A CFR candidate is taking us into Iran, democrat or republican.

    have you been living in a cave and have not watched the news in about 30 or so years?? The Iranians have an extremely racist President who is like the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler. He claims that the holocaust never happened in his fantasy world. He is actively working on making his own atomic weapons and has promised to wipe Israel off the map. Oh back in the 1980s Iran and Iraq fought a long war which eventually led to our own war with Iraq because our President accused Saddam of war crimes and had him executed.

    Israel peaceful!! LOL that made my day, thanks!

    To answer your question Iran is wanting to change to the Euro in trading their oil with. Nothing more than that...Of course what I don't understand is that it would be "good" for what they want to do with the North American Union because it would destroy the US dollar and force people to accept the Amero like they want us to like good little drones.

    Of course I agree with V though too...Iran I am sure is not wanting to freely give up their sovereignty like the rest of the world has.

    They did nothing wrong. They are no worse than the US. They threaten Isreal (who we supplied with nukes and can surely handle themselves) and we threaten Saddam and Ahmadinejad and Kim jung il

    Because the globalists are trying to create an Arabian Union. Much like they have with the European Union and the soon to be (within 2 decades) the North American Union. This unifying of nations will play into their multi-lateralism plans as they move us toward a one world government.

    BANK IT.

    they have stuff other people want (oil). their president has stated his desire to see Israel ultimately wiped off the face of the earth. I also think many Americans want payback for that little hostage thing many years ago.
