    2-years.

    It's 2 years from the date the inquiry was reported on your credit report.

    So don't go apply for every credit offer because lenders looks at that and thinks that you are desperate and that you won't be able to pay the debt..

    2 years...Never get more than two credits = credit cards,cars, houses, loans in a two month period.
