Burning dvd files onto disc on windows vista?

Hi can anybody give me a step by step guide on how do use windows Vista to burn dvds file onto disc so it can be played on a dvd player.

thanks for your answer but i dont need to shrink the dvd files as there on my computer to start with. i just need to burn them onto disc.

    Edit: Do you have CD/DVD burning software already installed on your Vista box? Nero? Roxio? Sonic? DVD Files are split into Audio and Video folders. You only need to open the burning software, point to the Video folder and burning that into a DVD format.

    Sothink is free,

    1 insert a dvd

    2 click add

    3 browse for the video file

    4 click start burn

    But remember this, it will only burn a video file no bigger than 120min long....If the video file is too big, use Easy Video Splitter and split the video into parts of 120mins
